Pose --> AS-Moon Dancer: main folder Pose/AS-Moon Dancer --> Clothes MAT: clothing styles mats Pose/AS-Moon Dancer --> Magnet Poses: magnets MATs and reset poses Pose/AS-Moon Dancer --> MD Poses: Moon Dancer 5 poses and weapong grasps Pose/AS-Moon Dancer --> Morph Ready Poses: Loin Morph poses Props --> AS-Moon Dancer: moon blades NOTE to users of pre-5 Poser versions: Moon Dancer package takes advantage of P5 and higher folder structure, in order for the files to display correctly in previous versions you will need to move them to the main directory. NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS -IMPORANT - READ-: - Load Victoria 4 and load the clothes, conform the clothes and use the V4 magnet fit on the clothes to add the JCM magnets/morphs to them. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you have VICTORIA 4 SELECTED before loading each piece of clothing in order for the JCM morphs to work (sleeves, shins). - Moon Dancer includes elbow JCM morphs that work automatically however, in Poser 7, they sometimes simply stop working automatically (see also above) and poke-throuh happens, in such cases simply set them manually using the JCM morphs dials. - When you enter the props section remember to have V4 selected before loading the blades. - If you want to use Alice INJect the morph into V4 and set the Alice fitting morphs to 1 for each piece of clothing. Alice shape is very different from V4 default one, this means some poke-through may happen, simply use the included morphs to correct it when it happens. - Moon Dancer material files are optimized for Poser 5 and above, the clothes include a material shader that may need tweaking in previous versions. The bladea materials are Poser materials and will only work in P5 and above and will not translate into DAZ Studio. IMPORTANT: always remember that the final outcome heavily depends on your lighting and render settings. To P5/P6/P7 users we strongly reccomend the use of the Firefly engine as the result are far better than with the P4 and because it exploits the shaders included in the package; it is also more precise by and large and allow the use of other important features such as raytracing and displacement maps. We also suggest to not use Auto settings but custom Manual ones, for a good outcome of any texture (clothes, skin, hair): - the min shading rate should be set to anything near 0.2 - the pixel sample should be set to at least 6 - the irradiance caching should be set to anything between 75% and 100% (the higher the better) - always leave the USE DISPLACEMENT MAPS CHECKED - always check both the cast shadows and raytracing boxes. POSES - POSES - POSES POSES - POSES - POSES POSES - POSES - POSES The folder "AS-MoonDancer/Morphs Ready Poses" includes morphs-ready-poses for the loin: 1-click MATs to set the various loin dress morphs to 1, it also offers a graphic representation of the morphs you can use as reference to create your custom movements setting the dials manually. For other special effect morphs there are ON/Off poses included, the name of the poses explains what they do. Click on the ON pose to activate the pose and set it to 1 and on the Off pose to re-set it to 0. If you need to set any morphs to a value lower than 0 you can do this manually. Click on the MAT to set the morph you want. Each MAT pose sets the choosen morph to 1 and all the others to 0. You can manually mix more morphs or customize them using the magnets to create unique morphs that fit your character's pose and your scene and that can create a great sense of dynamism. The morphs were created with Vicky in zeroed position, this means that poke-through may happen when you pose your character, just use other movement morphs and/or the magnets to correct such issues. The folder "AS-MoonDancer/Clothes MAT" includes MAT poses to change the clothes styles, there are 3 different, complete styles you can choose, each with its unique style but that can also be easily mixed and matched with the other styles included or with other clothing you want to use. MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS The loin and the sleeves all have 1 magnet each: use the magnets to adjust/customize movement morphs or to quickly create movement morphs from scratch. In the poses folders "AS-MoonDancer/Magnet Poses" you also find some MATs for an easier fruition of the magnets: * the MAT pose "Edge" will set the magnets to show as edge only * the MAT pose "Full" will set the magnets to show as full * the MAT pose "Hide" will hide the magnets. * the MAT pose "Zero" will reset the magnets to their zeroed default position. - We reccomend to set the Foreground color to Black to better see the magnets. - Poser default for deformers such as magnets is set to "Show Current selection only" [Display--> Deformers], this means that no matter whether the deformers are set to be shown or hidden (we have set the magnet zones and magnet bases to be hidden) in the cr2 or pp2 they will appear when you select a part of the clothing they're linked to. The only way to solve this is to set this option to "Hide All" [Display--> Deformers] rather than "Show current selection only", this means all the deformers are now hidden by default but when working with Eclipse (and our other clothes that include the magnets feature) you can use the MATs that set the magnets appearance to edge only or full and they'll show, and this time you will only see the little cones/squares (that is the magnet handles) rather than the magnet zones and bases: 1°- Go to Menu --> Display --> Deformers and choose "Hide All" 2°- Go to your Poses folder, enter the "AS-EclipseMrphs" folder and click the "!DefEdge_*" or "!DefFull_*" to make the magnets show up. To hide them once you're done use the "!DefHIDE_*" and to reset them to their zero position use the "!Zeroed_*". Be aware that these poses work on the corresponding magnets even if the corresponding piece of clothing is not selected so even if you're working with Strap number 5, for example, if you by change click on the Zeroing Pose for the number 4 it will be reset. This is important to know because you may not want to reset the wrong magnet. This product was NOT tested within DAZ Studio, we do not support DAZ Studio at the moment therefore cannot assist with it, some features may not work so if you only use D|S be aware of this and that the product may not be fully compatible (the blades materials are a Poser shader, they won't "translate" into DAZ Studio.
