This is a replica of the most famous Roman Coliseum. I created the shape, steps, entrance/exits from a top and side plans found in an architecture book which studied the ruins. The gates, emperor's box etc,. are my own interpretation and watching Gladiator. The model is texture mapped with two sets of textures. The first set are greyscale pencil style, i would sketch the texture then scan it in and apply it. The other set are simple colored versions of the greyscale ones. They are not refined final textures, but good enough for renders. The images supplied are using these textures. They are all mapped and you can easily replace them with your own versions. I also include 3 types of alpha blood splats for the ground. The Maya files contain two sets of lighting, a simple rig and a light globe that simulates global lighting. The file does not contain the statues on the gate, those belong to Viewpoint. To use this model you will need either Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3Ds Max, Poser or any 3D software that can import an OBJ data file, but the user should make sure their software has this feature before buying. I simply imported the OBJ file into Poser re-directed the textures and saved the file. I am not familiar with Poser but the file came through just fine. Both the Sketch and the Color files are also saved here. Expert Poser Users may want to import the OBJ to whatever scale themselves. The entire mesh is a combination of triangles and quads, when triangulated is 56753. Current model is 36738 faces.
