Product Description
The unique and stylish Violetta dress is the latest in my Real Gownz series.  As with the rest, you get a set for five different figures as it fits all standard MFDs - and that means V4, V3, Aiko, Laura and The Girl. It comes in three shades - vibrant violet (like the original), electic blue and a multi-coloured vintage texture that looks and feels old. It is decorated with jewels and trimmed with old black lace.

A special bonus is two textures for the Daz Wizard Robes to tranform them into light and lacy coats that complement the violet and blue gowns for V3 and V4.

The real Violetta (pictured below) is made from a 1930s vintage petticoat, an old crushed silk satin sheet and some mosquito netting and is enctusted with amethyst gems. There is a big obsidian brooch in the middle. It is stylish, it is striking and it is unique.
 
Each Real Gownz texture is made from a real dress than is itself made from recycled materials. For years I made these gowns from Thrift Shop items as a creative outlet, then sold them at markets. They were displayed as Wearable Art in my local library. There is a photo of the actual dress below.

Now I am recycling them yet again by painstakingly transferring high resolution photographs of the dresses onto the MFD texture template, then adding some bump and diplacement for even more realism. I considered providing a new dress model, but remembered that we are recycling here so it makes more sense to use something you already have (the MFD) than to add yet another dress model to a runtime that is probably already full of them!

Please note that, as this is made from a recycled item, fabric variiatons and imperfections have been deliberately transferred from the original to the texture template.

This texture fits all standard DAZ MFDs - Victoria 4, Victoria 3, Aiko, Laura and The Girl.
There is no postwork to any images apart from compositing.

Unzip to your Poser content directory

Usage Tips/Limitations
Alter the bump settings to suit your requirements as the settings provided are a compromise to suit both Poser and Daz Studio.

UnZIP all files to your Poser root folder. Be sure to check the "Use Folder Names" option.

With your MFD figure selected, click on the thumbnails in this folder:

Texture MAT files are included for application with bump maps. Bump maps are provided in .JPG format only.
