ESHA'S SERENADE DRESS for Poser

Thank you for purchasing my Serenade Dress for Victoria 4.


This dress will work in Poser 5 or higher and DAZ Studio.
NOTE: The bonus shaders will not work in DAZ Studio. 


All of this product's content was created by esha, using the following
merchant resource: "Jewels of India" by Moyra (from DAZ).


Needed files: Victoria 4 from DAZ


HOW TO INSTALL:

	Copy the .zip file in a folder of your choice.
	Unzip the file into your poser directory (for example C:\Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 5).
	The "Use Folder names" option must be enabled. The files will unpack into the right folders.

	If you want to extract the file manually, put the files into the folders as indicated
	in the file list (see below).

	If you are using a Mac you will have to convert some of the files.


INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

	Loading and posing the dress:

	The dress  will appear in the "Character" library in a folder called "Esha Serenade".
	Load the V4 figure, then load the dress and conform it to the figure.
	Use the morphs and the body handles to fit the dress to the figure.

	Use the bodyhandles to adjust the skirt to the leg pose. If necessary, apply the "Hips Wide" 
	or the "ThighsThickness" morphs if the cloth is too tight in the hip area.
	When using a pose with arms down, please apply the "fix Armpit" morphs as needed (the values
	vary according to the pose). 
	Sometimes, when certain morphs are applied, there may be a little pokethrough in the hip area
	in certain poses. This can easily be fixed with the morphs for hip and thighs mentioned above.
	Use the "Back tight" morph to make the dress fit more closely to the figure's back. 

	Note: With a tight skirt like this leg movement is somewhat restricted, just as it would be in 
	reality. The body handles allow you to adjust the skirt to many poses, however it will look best
	if you use poses that would work with such a dress in real life, too. ;)


	Textures and materials:

	The dress loads with a basic texture applied. You will find the texture sets in the "Pose" library
	in a folder called "Esha Serenade MAT". Select the dress and apply the mat pose.
	The satin shaders can be found in the "Materials" library in a folder called "Esha Serenade Satin".
	To apply them switch to the Material Room, select a material zone of the dress and apply the preset.
	The dress has the following material zones: dress, ruffle_top, ruffle, roses, handles.
	Use the "Invisible" material to switch off single parts, for example the roses or one of the ruffles.

	
	Rendering:
	
	Please use the "!Handles off" pose to hide the handles before rendering.
	The textures look best when rendered with the firefly renderer and/or high quality render settings.
	NOTE for DAZ Studio users: Depending on the effect you wish to achieve, you may want to set the 
	lighting model to "matte".
