(3) Product Description:  A unique, digitally painted rose resource which includes individual floral elements & convenient groups for digital composition:  2 large rose blooms, 3 rosebuds with stems, 5 leaf groupings, 2 stems with leaves, 1 twig and leaf, 4 individual leaves.  Also included are 2 applications using these rose elements:  1 Rose Bower Shield/Title graphic and 1 background paper. The floral elements are all provided as individual psd files, without drop shadow, on a transparent background, 300 dpi.  The background paper is in jpg format and the shield/title graphic is in psd format.

Many thanks to Peggy Stogdill, for her detailed tutorial instructions in floral oilpainting, which I have adapted for digital painting methods.  I also want to acknowledge  Ann Kingslan and Mary Kingslan Gibilisco for their excellent instructional book, "Flower Studies, Volume I:  Focus on Realistic Roses", which is an excellent theory and practice manual for floral painting with oils.


(6)  Needed Files:  No 3rd party files are needed for this product to function.

(7)  Installation Instructions:  Unzip the zipfile using Winzip or Stuffit (if you are using a Mac), open your graphics program, navigate to the directory and folder into which you unzipped the zipfile, and open any of the psd and/or jpg files. 


(8) Usage Tips/Limitations:  If you want to reduce the size to a specific width or height, use your "Sharpen" filter AFTER reducing it for best effect.  These images reduce very nicely in dimension, but may require a bit of sharpening when reduced by 75% or more.
