'Silk Flowers' is a set of 6 photoshop actions to create beautiful silky flowers of your chosen colour. All documents created with the actions are 300 dpi, various sizes.

INSTALLATION:

You will need an unzipping program (such as WinZip, or you can use WindowsXP's unzipping ability). Unzip the files and place them in a folder of your choice. Then copy the file 'dp Silk Flowers.ATN' to your Photoshop actions' Windows directory (usually C:/Program Files/Adobe Photoshop/Presets/Photoshop Actions).



USAGE TIPS:

- If you are a novice to actions, the safest thing to do is to load the actions in your Photoshop, choose (select) the one you like (actions 1-6), press play and just follow the instructions you get on the screen (there won't be many of them and they are really simple!).

- Sometimes you will get a Photoshop warning "Some aspect of the Effects cannot be reproduced with layers". This is NOT an action glitch - it's a standard, default Photoshop warning / reminder you get every time you create an effect on a layer, and then tell Photoshop to create layers out of effects. If that appears, you can just click 'OK' and the action will continue normally, or to get rid of this warning completely, just check the box 'Do not show again' and press 'OK'.

- When the action stops and gives you a message, read it carefully. You will not have to read too many messages or remember too many things because, all 6 actions ask from you only to colorize your image.

- Do not press 'Stop' unless you are asked to do so. Or, you CAN press 'stop', but then (again, if you are not skilled in actions) you mustn't change any order of layers or rename them. If you press 'stop' and then do some work on the image, and then press 'play' again, the action WILL NOT play properly, since the script depends on layers, their names, the tools or colours selected.

- When asked to colorize your image and adjust the slider in the Hue/Saturation dialogue, remember that LESS lightness will give you stronger colour and LESS silky effect. More light - more silk!
