Now you can save the assembled room and get started! DESCRIPTION: RADIUS was designed so you can create great looking renders very quickly. It is a scene that contains everything you need to get started on your masterpiece in Carrara. The room is already scaled to the perfect size, so your characters load with ease. If there is something in the room that you don't want, simple turn the visibility off. Feel free to move things around and experiment - there are plenty of objects in the room to manipulate. Creating great images or animations in Carrara has never been this easy. Take the first step in making your dream a reality! HINTS AND ADVICE ON USING RADIUS: You can chose to have windows in the room or no windows. The default is with windows, so if you want walls instead, just turn on the visibility of the Instance 'walls_wo_windows'. A column can also be activated in the center of the room by turning on visibility of the Instance 'central_column'. It is suggested to turn of visibility of the Instance 'central_mech.obj' when you choose this option. The default render settings are optimized for quality. If you require faster renders, go to the Render Room and set AntiAliasing to 'Good', Object Accuracy to 1 pixels, and Shadow Accuracy to 4 pixels. This may be sufficient for some scenes if you don't have fine details in the camera frame. The scene loads with the camera facing the center of the room where your daz/poser content will load. By double clicking on content from your runtime, your characters will appear at this point, and at the correct scale, so you will need to move them from the center of the room until they are visible. (Or turn off the visibility of the Mech in the center of the room). For example, if you double click on Victoria 4.1 in your runtime folder, Victoria will appear in the center of the room. To add clothing, simply select Victoria in your instance tab, then double click on the clothing you want to use, and it will conform to Victoria (as long as she is selected in your instance tab). This eliminates the step of conforming the clothes manually. You can then apply a pose using the same method. Lighting options in this scene: - 23 Fluorescent Lamps (Achieved using Anything Glows) - 11 spotlights with optional lensflares (default is with lensflares active) - Ambient lighting - and other simulated lights using glow and aural effects For character illumination, you may need to create a small light, depending on your needs. Other features: - Most objects in the room are procedurally textured, meaning they do not have UV Maps associated with them. - All console and monitor screens are UV MAPPED to allow detailed texturing. We recommended NOT resizing RADIUS since the lighting has been set up based on the default model size. The lighting effects will change if the model size is changed, so just be aware you may need to make additional adjustments, particularly lighting, if you decide to rescale. There are also 10 camera position presets to get you started. Don't be afraid to experiment! Limitations: The models, textures, and lighting included in RADIUS, and components that make them up, cannot be used to create other products for sale. You may use these models in your creations, but you may not redistribute them in any form.
