Simply install your Quilty by unzipping the ZIP into the Poser(TM) directory of your computer. Set the OVERWRITE EXISTING FILES option to "ON". After installation load DAZ3D's (TM) Victoria4/Victoria4.x into your workspace. Uncheck all Inverse Kinematiks. Go to: Pose open arcebus_alleycatz open Quilty -) When using this character with Victoria 4.2 and the morphs++, INJ the V4.2 Morphs BEFORE applying the Quilty character geometry (Min. the Base morphs, if you have, the Morph++, too, even though the Morph++ pack is not required to use Quilty -) I suggest you to save the entire character in your "Figure" folder. -) Some preset body poses available on the market do affect the eyes settings. If you experience Quiltys eyes falling out the head, simply double-click the 40_FIX -Pose. This will fix the problem, thus I named the button FIX. -) to make Quilties scars visible, you must activate "displacement" in your render settings ***************************************************************************** ********** USING THE PINS *************************************************** ***************************************************************************** The Pins for Quilty are a separate figur, almost, but not totally different to a hair figure. Use them as follows: Have you V4.x loaded and the Quilty character pose injected. Make sure, the character is selected active. Load the Pins4Quilty from Figures -> Arcebus -> Quilty CONFORM THE PINS TO THE BASE FIGURE FIRST THEN USE THE FIXMORPH PRESET [PinFIX2Quilty] FOUND IN Pose -> Arcebus_Alleycatz -> Quilty If you need more fixing options: the translation wheels for both Head and lowerJaw are working, and you will find to additional morphs for those two bodypart, that offer a range of geometrical changes that allow for precise settings of the pins to the scars, as long as the base face is not morphed too much! ***************************************************************************** ********** USING CLOTHES WITH QUILTY **************************************** ***************************************************************************** Keep in mind, that Quilty uses displacement. By this, the volume of the character appears larger through rendering. You need to set applied clothes to a bigger volume (by using "voluptous" or "heavy" morphs in the appropriate clothes. Else you will get pokethroughs that won't be visible unless the image is rendered! *** at www.alterworldz.com you can find a dress for the lady - get it, it's free. Note: depending to your computers specifications it can take a moment until the poses and textures are loaded. Thank you for purchasing *arcebus: Quilty and have as much fun working with the lady as I had while creating this digital sister of a real person.
