DAZ's Creature Morphs are required to use the Beast Morphs for the nails and teeth. Isolde is NOT set to be used with V4.1. Sorry, I couldn't leave them both on my machine due to the way DAZ has the installation set. While it's a pain, moving to V4.2 is actually a benefit in the long run. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unzip this archive to your desired Poser directory. This will ensure that all of the files are placed in the correct directories within your Poser Runtime directory. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONVERSION AND/OR APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isolde uses advanced shader nodes and displacement maps---for this reason she is P6-P7-Poser Pro ONLY! While she may work in P5, she has not been optimized nor tested in P5 so NO SUPPORT for DAZ STUDIO, P5, PP or P4 is available. She has been tested on a Mac. She is not optimized for Daz Studio---Studio users use her at your own risk and discretion. A non-shader mat folder has been provided as a courtesy to P4, P5 and DAZ Studio users. However you will need to manually apply the bump yourself---at this point the non-shader version bump is attached to the gradient bump node. Again, I CAN PROVIDE NO support for D|S, P4 or P5, the non-shader mats are provided as a courtesy, ONLY. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- USEAGE TIPS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use the basemat at the very top of the mat folder to apply her default textures. This pack stresses personal choice with multiple options for makeup, lips, eyes and nails. Isolde will fill just about any ideal you have. In the Eye folder you will find the brow off and brow on files to make the brow plate visible or to turn it back off and just use the face texture's brows. While I did provide a number of brow colors for you to choose from, if you need a color that isn't provided, it's REALLY easy to change the color yourself! Go into the material room and change the TOP diffuse color once you have the brow plate activated with the included mat files. Or you can just use the brow provided on the texture. The same principle applies for the lash color. If you need a different color than is provided, simply change the top diffuse color to whatever you wish. REFLECTIONS: Her eye reflections only change the cornea. To remove the library reflection, just load the eye color again. All the eyes are self contained, so if you set a reflection and change the eye color you'll need to set your reflection again. This was designed so that these eyes can be used with any other character in your runtime, as can the reflections. Isolde's "Beast Morph" uses the V4 Creature morphs to lengthen and sharpen her teeth and nails--THIS IS ALL IT DOES! There are no expression morphs or further beast morphs. If you don't have the Creature Morphs from DAZ, simply inject the V4++ morphs, go down to Teeth Canine Sharp Top and Teeth Canine Sharp Bottom and max those out---that should do if you don't have the Creature morphs installed on your machine. You can then delete the beast morph entries from your library. The only makeup texture that comes with lipstick already applied is her beast makeup. This is, of course, only a 'serving suggestion' since it compliments the orange beast eyes. You can use any lipstick you want, or none at all if you prefer---keeping Isolde in the line of optionally modular characters you've come to expect from me. :) To get the highest results possible, in the Auto Render Settings tab, Push the slider all to the right, then enter the manual settings tab, click "Acquire from Auto" and change the Min displacement bounds to 1.0 This does take more power from your computer and may take longer to render. If you find the bump too strong for your tastes, just go to the material room and enter a lower number in the bump field. Feel free to lower or even disable it if you prefer to work without it. Tips on rendering: I set the camera for Isolde at 100mm for both face and main cameras for most of these shots. And almost exclusively use lights by Saint Fox. I can't say enough good things about her lights. If you don't have them, you should. To get rid of that dead doll stare, close and squint the eyes a little bit, have your model look up with the head slightly down...this gives the impression of her looking through her lashes. Twist the head slightly and adjust the side to side parameters of the eyes.
