When you will open the psd file in your graphic program, the layers will be made invisible and one over the other. Make sure to click the tiny box to the left of the layers so the open eye icon shows up. You can resize them as you think is better for your texture:-) Tha gray color version is perfect for changing colors. You can even combine and change tones, paint on them, blur them... there are many posibilities:-) They can also be used for making clothing textures. TUTORIAL - How to use the files: Tattoos are saved as large gray psd layers. 1. Open the file, browse the layers, choose your favorite and dragg it / copy it over yout skin texture. 2. Once placed on the skin texture, resize them to the desired dimension. 3. To change their color you must select one of the 3 image adjustments options - Variations, Hue and Saturation or Color Balance and tweak them to the desired color. 4. For a more realistic skinlike look, you have to select : “Filter”/”texture”/”texturizer” and then pick the sandstone texture adjusting the bump effect as you wish. 5. Use the opacity change option on the layer in case you want to change transparency. 6. Layers can be combined to create new tattoos. You can postwork them if you wish or you can use them the way they are on your textures. They don't have to be altered, if you dont feel like altering them.
