NOTE to users of pre-5 Poser versions: Hanyma Vengeance package takes advantage of P5 and higher folder structure, in order for the files to display correctly in previous versions you will need to move them to the main folder/directory. NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS -IMPORTANT - READ-: 1) Get started Load Victoria 4 and load the clothes, conform the clothes and use the V4 magnet fit on the clothes to add the JCM magnets/morphs to them. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you have VICTORIA 4 SELECTED before loading each piece of clothing in order for the various JCM morphs to work properly and automatically. 2) Morphs Tips ALWAYS USE THE MORPHS in the BODY part of any piece of clothing, not in the single body parts (such as shin, shoulder etc.), always SET the MORPHS on the BODY. - There are several helpful (help/fix) morphs for the various clothing pieces to help with poke-through between the pieces themselves or with Victoria. If you run into any poke-through please remember to check and use these morphs or, in case they are not enough, use custom Poser magnets or D|S D-Forms. 3) Poser and DAZ Studio compatibility While these clothes have been created primarily to be used within Poser (5 or above) they have also been tested in DAZ Studio and fine-tuned to work at their best in both programs. The materials and MATs included are for Poser only, however you can download compliant DAZ Studio materials created by AlmightyQuest from here: URL. Hanyma Vengeance was tested and works in both Poser (5 or above) and DAZ Studio. 4) Clothing pieces details Hanyma Vengeance clothes were created to be used both independently and all together, moreover various piece include style/hide poses to change the very shape of the object. Moreover when used together some poke-through between the various parts may happen (because of the complexity of each mesh), every piece of clothing includes "FIT" morphs and HIDE morphs when necessary. In any case just follow these instructions and you'll know what to do (morphs to use etc.) HELMET - you can hide the front part: hide front morph (BODY) - you can hide the back batteries: hide batteries morph (BODY) - you can hide the back part: hide back morphs (BODY) + MAT pose (--> Poses/AS-HanymaVengeance/Utilities) JACKET - you can hide the various cables: each have an hide morph (BODY) - you can fit it to the character without the spinal: No-Spinal V4, etc. morphs (BODY) - you can fit it to the gloves without the spinal: Fit Glove no Spinal morph - you can use the: hide front strap (morph - BODY) to easily mix it with bras and such (such as our free Elven Strapped) - you can hide the back long cables via MAT pose: Poses/AS-HanymaVengeance/Utilities GLOVES - they can be worn independently: Fit Alone morph (BODY) - they can fit over the spinal: fit over spinal morph (by default they are below) (BODY) - you can fit it to the gloves without the spinal: Fit Over Spinal morph (BODY) SPINAL - when using it with the jacket you have to use the: Hide battery fit to jacket morph (BODY) to get rid of any poke-through between spinal and jacket - you can hide all batteries: Hide All battery morph (BODY) - you can hide the batteries antennas: hide Antenna morph (BODY) - you can hide each of the right and left batteries: hide morphs for each battery (BODY) PANTIE - you can hide the various parts for additional styles: strap, front tube, right tube, front batteries, leather, metal: hide morphs for each (BODY) - you can use it without the spinal (by default it fits the spinal): No Spinal morph (BOYD) 5) poke-through issues All morphs were created on VICTORIA 4 BASE in ZEROED position, this means that movement morphs can easily poke-through when the character is posed or you're using a morphed character. To correct such issue just use the included morphs or Poser magnets. If you need more morphs to make the clothes fit your custom character you can either use Lyrra's or Netherworks magnet fitting sets or "Morphing Clothes" by Dimension 3D (Renderosity marketplace). 6) Using Alice If you want to use Alice INJect the morph into V4 and set the Alice fitting morphs to 1 for each piece of clothing. Alice shape is very different from V4 default one, this means some poke-through may happen more easily, simply use the included morphs to correct it when it happens or custom magnets, you should also check Alice fix morphs because she has several that are useful to adjust poke-through (for example for the front thighs when the legs are bent). 7) Hand grab poses the poses folder AS-HanymaVengeance/Hands include poses for both hands and fingers only. The fingers only poses will only make V4 fingers grab the swords handle without influencing the hand, the hand poses move both hand and fingers. 8) materials Hanyma Vengeance material files are optimized for Poser 7 (that is 5 and above), the clothes include a material shader that may need tweaking in previous versions and/or in DAZ Studio (metals are mostly Poser nodes although a reflection is included). By default the materials include no gather node but in the MATs folder you'll find MAT poses also with the gather node which adds realism to the shader/overall outcome but sensibly increases rendering times so before using these make a few test renders to see if it can work on your machine/Poser setup. 9) Metal behaviour Please, note that the Hanyma spinal, Helmet and Pantie are supposed to be hard metal objects, by default they should not allow for excessive bending and twisting. However neither Poser or DAZ|Studio currently understand that a mesh should be rigid and non-deforming; therefore the metal parts may distort when Victoria 4 moves since they follow her movements. If they distortion is too evident then you may need to use a less extreme pose. In other words, be aware that Vicky can't bend and twist like normal because she has these hard metal constructs attached to her spine, limiting her flexibility. Or, depending on the POV of your render, maybe you decide the defomration of the metal isn't something that concerns you. 10) polycount and textures resolution the Hanyma Vengeance set is very high poly and the textures are high resolution, while this allows for excellent close-ups it may also be heavy on your scene depending on your machine and what you have loaded into your scene. If you run into any issues moving your scene or rendering out, remember to: - load the clothes as the last thing in your scene or, alternatively, have them all hidden and fine-tune once at a time, then, when you're done, use the Poser feature Figure/ShowAllFigures to have all hidden clothing pieces show up again. - if you're not rendering close-ups you can just reduce the textures size. To understand how large the final texture should be for your image just calculate how much space, in pixel, each texture will occupy on the final render. 11) hide morphs conflict Some hide morphs may conflict with each other if you sum them up thus causing little pieces of geometry to appear in mid air, if this happens (rare occurrence) try to understand what hide morphs are in conflict with each other to solve the issue. 12) crosstalking by default the clothes use the cross-talking technology which means that they will automatically conform to character morphs included in the package. For a list of the morphs included you can check the online tutorials page or the store promo page. NOTE that crosstalking will no more work if you save a single piece of clothing to your library without the character inside. In case the crosstalking feature "breaks" you'll simply need to set the morphs manually. Also NOTE that you won't be able to manually change the value of the morphs from the BODY due to the crosstalking being active but you can change their value on the various body parts (ex.: hip, collar, etc.) in case you need to fine tune some morphs of correct some poke-through. ******************** RENDERING TIPS ******************** IMPORTANT: always remember that the final outcome heavily depends on your lighting and render settings. To P5/P6/P7 users we strongly recommend the use of the Firefly engine for your final renders, as the result are far better than with the P4 and because it exploits the shaders included in the package; it is also more precise by and large and allows the use of other important features such as raytracing and displacement maps. We also suggest to not use Auto settings but custom Manual ones, for a good outcome of any texture (clothes, skin, hair): - the min shading rate should be set to anything near 0.2 - the pixel sample should be set to at least 6 - the irradiance caching should be set to anything between 75% and 100% (the higher the better) - always leave the USE DISPLACEMENT MAPS CHECKED - always check both the cast shadows and raytracing boxes. ******************** RENDERING TIPS ******************** These notes should clear most of your doubts or questions about "Hanyma Vengeance" and its features but should you run into any issues or have any doubt and/or suggestion don't hesitate to contact us, we'll be more than glad to help out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of this product's content was created by As Shanim & Siliphiel of Aery Soul (under the name Aery_Soul as merchant on Renderosity) using the following merchant resource: Texture resources available at cgtextures.com personal resources ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open the zip file with WinZip Click EXTRACT Verify that All Files is checked Verify that USE FOLDER NAMES is checked Extract the folder to your Poser directory and Winzip should create the path to the files or \AerySoulInfo\ AS-HanymaVengeance_README.txt license.TXT Runtime\Geometries\AerySoul\hanyma2\ h2_bodyarmor.obj h2_gloves.obj h2_hair.obj h2_helmet.obj h2_lft_sword.obj h2_lftboot.obj h2_pantie.obj h2_rgt_sword.obj h2_rgtboot.obj h2_spinal.obj Runtime\Libraries\Character\AS-HanymaVengeance\ Boot_Lft.cr2 Boot_Lft.png Boot_Rgt.cr2 Boot_Rgt.png Gloves.cr2 Gloves.png Hair.cr2 Hair.png Helmet.cr2 Helmet.png Jacket.cr2 Jacket.png Pantie.cr2 Pantie.png Spinal.cr2 Spinal.png Runtime\Libraries\Poses\AS-HanymaVengeance\Clothes MATs\ Gather-Boots.png Gather-Boots.pz2 Gather-Gloves.png Gather-Gloves.pz2 Gather-Helmet.png Gather-Helmet.pz2 Gather-Jacket.png Gather-Jacket.pz2 Gather-Pantie.png Gather-Pantie.pz2 Gather-Spinal.png Gather-Spinal.pz2 Gather-Swords.png Gather-Swords.pz2 Hair_Black.png Hair_Black.pz2 Hair_Cherry.png Hair_Cherry.pz2 Hair_Fairytale.png Hair_Fairytale.pz2 Hair_LightBlonde.png Hair_LightBlonde.pz2 Hair_SkyBlue.png Hair_SkyBlue.pz2 Lights-Blue.png Lights-Blue.pz2 Lights-Green.png Lights-Green.pz2 Lights-Orange.png Lights-Orange.pz2 Lights-Purple.png Lights-Purple.pz2 Lights-White.png Lights-White.pz2 NoGather-Boots.png NoGather-Boots.pz2 NoGather-Gloves.png NoGather-Gloves.pz2 NoGather-Helmet.png NoGather-Helmet.pz2 NoGather-Jacket.png NoGather-Jacket.pz2 NoGather-Pantie.png NoGather-Pantie.pz2 NoGather-Spinal.png NoGather-Spinal.pz2 NoGather-Swords.png NoGather-Swords.pz2 Runtime\Libraries\Poses\AS-HanymaVengeance\Hands\ LftHand_nh.png LftHand_nh.pz2 LftHand_wh.png LftHand_wh.pz2 RgtHand_nh.png RgtHand_nh.pz2 RgtHand_wh.png RgtHand_wh.pz2 Runtime\Libraries\Poses\AS-HanymaVengeance\Utilities\ !_Zero-LFT_HelmetCable.png !_Zero-LFT_HelmetCable.pz2 !_Zero-LFT_JacketCable.png !_Zero-LFT_JacketCable.pz2 !_Zero-RGT_HelmetCable.png !_Zero-RGT_HelmetCable.pz2 !_Zero-RGT_JacketCable.png !_Zero-RGT_JacketCable.pz2 Helmet_HideCable.png Helmet_HideCable.pz2 Jacket_HideCable.png Jacket_HideCable.pz2 Runtime\Libraries\Props\AS-HanymaVengeance\ LftSword.png LftSword.pp2 RgtSword.png RgtSword.pp2 Runtime\Textures\aerysoul\hnvengeance\ hn_ba_buckles.jpg hn_ba_bucklesB.jpg hn_ba_bucklesD.jpg hn_ba_bucklesS.jpg hn_ba_hardcloth.jpg hn_ba_hardclothB.jpg hn_ba_hardclothD.jpg hn_ba_hardclothD2.jpg hn_ba_hardclothGr.jpg hn_ba_hardclothS.jpg hn_ba_rubber.jpg hn_ba_rubberB.jpg hn_ba_rubberD.jpg hn_ba_various.jpg hn_ba_variousB.jpg hn_ba_variousD.jpg hn_ba_variousS.jpg hn_ba_variousgr.jpg hn_bo_batteries.jpg hn_bo_batteriesB.jpg hn_bo_batteriesD.jpg hn_bo_batteriesS.jpg hn_bo_bootleg.jpg hn_bo_bootlegB.jpg hn_bo_bootlegD.jpg hn_bo_bootlegGr.jpg hn_bo_bootlegS.jpg hn_gl_glove.jpg hn_gl_gloveB.jpg hn_gl_gloveD.jpg hn_gl_gloveGr.jpg hn_gl_gloveS.jpg hn_gl_various.jpg hn_gl_variousB.jpg hn_gl_variousD.jpg hn_gl_variousS.jpg hn_he_helmback.jpg hn_he_helmbackB.jpg hn_he_helmbackD.jpg hn_he_helmbackD2.jpg hn_he_helmbackS.jpg hn_he_helmfront.jpg hn_he_helmfrontB.jpg hn_he_helmfrontD.jpg hn_he_helmfrontD2.jpg hn_he_helmfrontS.jpg hn_he_helmother.jpg hn_he_helmotherB.jpg hn_he_helmotherD.jpg hn_pt_batteries.jpg hn_pt_batteriesB.jpg hn_pt_batteriesD.jpg hn_pt_metal.jpg hn_pt_metalB.jpg hn_pt_metalD.jpg hn_pt_metalS.jpg hn_pt_pantie.jpg hn_pt_pantieB.jpg hn_pt_pantieD.jpg hn_pt_pantieS.jpg hn_pt_tubes.jpg hn_pt_tubesB.jpg hn_pt_tubesD.jpg hn_refl.jpg hn_sp_batteries.jpg hn_sp_batteriesB.jpg hn_sp_batteriesD.jpg hn_sp_batteriesD2.jpg hn_sp_batteriesS.jpg hn_sp_minibatt.jpg hn_sp_minibattB.jpg hn_sp_minibattS.jpg hn_sp_spinal.jpg hn_sp_spinalB.jpg hn_sp_spinalD.jpg hn_sp_spinalD2.jpg hn_sp_spinalS.jpg hn_strings.jpg hn_sword.jpg hn_swordB.jpg hn_swordD.jpg hn_swordD2.jpg hn_swordS.jpg hnh_angelicpretty.jpg hnh_black.jpg hnh_cherry.jpg hnh_fairytale.jpg hnh_hairtrans.jpg hnh_lightbl.jpg ŠAery Soul 2001-2009 www.aerysoul.com
