One is a standard (universal) prop the other, purse_SP, is a smart prop. The purse_SP and pose presets have been customized for Victoria 4. To use with another figure, you will need to manually adjust as needed. To use the purse_Sp with the pose set. Load your V4 figure and then load the purse_SP. Next apply the desired pose preset to your V4 figure. The pose will automatically position the purse to match the figure pose and will also change any parenting as needed. Because Poser requires the prop have a specific internal name, the poses will only work on the first SP purse you load in your scene. This is only an issue when you use more than one purse_SP in your scene. 2) MAT POSE and Purse Poser Only - you must have a figure in your scene before you can apply a MAT POSE to a prop. The prop does not have to be parented (child) to the figure, so you can apply the MATs to either version of the purse, so long as you have a figure (cr2) of some kind in your scene. To apply the MAT pose, select the purse and apply as you would a standard pose preset or mat pose. If you have more than one purse in your scene, parented to the same figure, the mat may apply the texture to all, even though you have the one you want selected. If this happens, either use an MC6 mat from the material room (in Poser) or else temporarily change the parent on the purse to universe and apply the MAT Pose. 3) Morphs for the Purse Just a quick note on the morphs. While many are meant to work primarily at a value of 1 for on and 0 for off, some of the morphs are intended to also work in combination with other morphs, at variable settings, both + & - values. Often because of limitations in Poser & DS morphs do not bend or twist the mesh uniformly but will result in warping and bending if you go under or over the set value of the morph (1). Often you can over come this limitation by using another, somewhat similar or even a mirror of the morph being applied to minimize the effects of warping or distortion. Experienced users are familiar with this, so I mention this mostly for those of you new to Poser or DS. 4) Checkerboards and artifacts. Procedural shader materials were used in creating some materials for the purse. One known issue with using shaders is that scene lighting and even camera angle, particular zooming in close at certain angles under cetain lights, can result in unexpected artifacts appearing in the render or even a checkerboard tiling. There is no easy fix to this problem since the shader may render fine in one scene set up but not the same in another. Bump and Displacment settings can sometimes be the cause, being too high for the lighting being used. Your render settings can also effect this, such as ambient light settings or shadow minimal bias settings. There is no one fix to this, and can sometimes happen even with texture maps being used.
