It has been tested in Poser 5, 6 and 7 and Poser 7 Pro. Poser 5 users please see notes below. It has not been tested on a MAC, but may work with this OS, but I can offer no support for MAC users, sorry. -------------- Detailed Installation Instructions: Extract the zip-archive with your zip program: - Open WinZip and press the button -Extract- - In the window -Folders/drives-, select the folder that contains your Poser program. (ex. c:\program files\Poser\ ). - The check box -Use Folder names- must be marked. That way, all files will be placed in the correct path. Poser 5 and above users, all files should end up in the correct places if you have the "Use folder names" option checked. -------------- Usage Tips/Limitations - Poser 5 Users: Please note that you must turn on the options to use Raytracing and displacement maps and use the Firefly Render engine to get the best results from all the shaders. Please do not use Texture Filtering, as this may cause white lines to appear on the textures. The Smooth Polygons option should also be turned off. All other options for the render settings are at your discretion. - Poser 6, 7 and Poser 7 Pro Users: Please be sure to use the Firefly render engine and be sure to set the option to use Displacement maps to get the full effects of the shaders. Using Texture Filtering may cause white lines to show on the textures in Poser 6, so please don't use this setting. Poser 7 and Poser 7 Pro handle texture filtering much better and there is no need to turn it off, but if you wish to do so there is an excellent python utility available to change the texture filtering options from "svdl". You can find this utility by copying and pasting this link into your favorite web browser: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=99327 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sultry Simone Character: Load a V4.2 figure into your scene, then apply the SimoneFULL_INJ pose to inject the Simone body and head shape. There is also a head only injection, should you wish to use your own body shape. Simone will load with her body set to wear the clothing, that is, with the nipples turned off. There is a pose in the main Sulty Simone folder to turn the nipples on, should you wish to use that option. There is also a pose in the main Sultry Simone folder to pose her feet for wearing the shoes, as well as removal poses for all the of the injections and the foot pose. The skin texture mat poses are in the BodyMATS folder under the main Sultry Simone folder. Sultry Simone Outfit: Load, conform and magnetize the clothing to your V4 character. The injection files are located in the Pose folder SultrySimone/ClothingMATS. Inject the clothing with the ALL Morphs Inject pose. As a convenience I have supplied a post to sculpt the outfit to the Simone body. You will find a pose in the ClothingMATS folder. NOTES: 1. The Chest Scale does not auto-conform and should be dialed in using the ChestSize dial in the Chest of the outfit if needed for your chosen character morph. It has been set this way so that you can use this as an extra adjustment to tighten or loosen the chest area of the outfit as needed to fit your character. 2. The morphs for this outfit were built to keep it as close to the body as possible and still retain the proper draping for the clothing. As a result some areas may need adjusting, depending on the combination of morphs used to shape your V4 character and/or the pose used. Some multiple morph combinations and/or extreme poses may result in areas of the clothing digging into the V4 body, but you can use the main dials as needed to adjust the clothing where needed. In addition, several of the adjustment morphs have been split, and you will find the dials for these in the body of the outfit as well. 3. The hip bows that load with the outfit are smart props, parented to the V4 hip, and they will follow the movements of her hip as she is posed, but they do not follow the body morph shapes so you must move the bows on the X axis if you are using a figure with wider hips. Occasionally the bows will lose the parenting and need to be re-parented to the V4 figure. You can also delete the bows to give the outfit a new look. The bows are provided as separate props as well, and can be found in the Props library in the Sultry Simone folder, simply select the V4 body and then load the bows and they will parent themselves to the V4 hip. Sultry Simone Shoes: Please use the Foot Pose (located in the main Sultry Simone folder) while your V4 character is in the zero position, and before conforming the shoes! A pose to set the V4 feet back to their default pose is included. It is not advisable to remove the foot pose while using the shoes. After applying the Foot Pose, the shoes can be conformed to the characters feet and any other desired pose may now be applied to your character. As with any close fitting item some poke through may occur when using poses that bend the feet beyond the limits of the character. There are several adjustment morphs included in the main Body of the shoes that can be used to fix most poke through, and slightly changing the bend of the foot will also fix this problem. There are no other injection files needed for the shoes, as they load with the body morphs already installed. As a convenience I have supplied a post to fit the shoes to the Simone body. You will find a pose in the ClothingMATS folder. NOTES: 1. The shoes load fitted to the V4 foot, use the dials in the Body list to change the shoe to fit a morphed V4 body. There are morphs to fit the shoes to The Girl 4, Aiko 4, V4 Body Builder shape, V4 Voluptuous shape, and the Elite Fantasia, Sylph and Utopian bodies. The strap scaling options will aid in fitting the strap area to the A4 Petite, Realistic and Stylized shapes. 2. The shoes may be fitted to most other V4 shapes using the strap scaling morphs. Sultry Simone Props: Antique Telephone: There is an old fashioned type telephone prop located in the Props library in the Sultry Simone folder, which loads with the default texture and colors, and the materials can be changed using your favorite plastic or metal shaders, there are no other materials supplied for these props. The phone will come into the scene at a large scale and is placed on the floor. You can easily change the scale of the phone to sit it on a table prop. Hair Bows: The hair bows are smart propped to the V4 head and set to load slightly away from the head to accommodate various hair styles. You can move the bows away from or closer to the hair to suit the hair type you are using. Mat files for these bows can be found in the SimonePropsMATS folder. Extra Hip Bows: You will also find a set of Hip Bows in this folder, supplied for your convince if you have deleted the bows that load with the outfit and then wish to replace them. These bows are smart parented to the V4 hip, and will move with it. The hip bow props will use the mat poses supplied for the full outfit, so that you may match them to the outfit texture being used if you load them on their own. Templates for the outfit and shoes are also included.
