1)Title: Genesis Virtual Racing, Registered at: Instituto Nacional del Derecho de Autor, Mexico City, October 2004 The Three Supercars are part of the GVR car collecion. 2)All of this product's content was created by Gabriel Cubos Lopez (Gabosamu) 3)Gabriel Cubos Lopez - email: 4)Files included: Kaliv.max, Kaliv.3ds, NodsterTX.max, NodsterTX.3ds, Rod.max, Rod.3ds, license.txt, Readme.txt, tread_6.tif, lakerem.jpg,nodsv8.jpg, rstrps.jpg, sstrps.jpg, twturb.jpg, batdiff.jpg, 5)Programs needed: 3DS MAX 5.1, no additional plugins needed. 6)Unzip the .max files on any directory of your choice, images must be unzipped on your 3dmax default maps directory. 7)Max and 3ds Files can be on any folder of your choice, by configuration on my machine maps must be: e:\3dMax5\maps 8)Cars must work as it is, the only "problem" you might find is scale, so you can create a group and scale the whole car until it matches the size you need, to take off reflections on the car just click on each material with the coloured background, open the maps option and unckeck the reflection map. 9)Tips: All pivots are aligned to the body´s pivot with the exception of the wheels, those pivots are aligned only with the center of the car if you´re looking at it from the front and pivots are centered to the wheel if you look at it from any side, if you want to make the wheels turn you can create a group with each wheel (core, rim, tire) and align the pivot to the center then make it turn, you can change the color of the car by changing the color of the material, it is the same with everything else, with the exception of the ones that have a diffuse map, car can be exported to a 3ds format but you might get some lines on some of the parts because of the way it was created. Limitations: Cars don´t have doors or any interior they were created that way, each car is a raw mesh without any animation so you shouldn´t have problems if you try to animate them.
