Design Your Own "Boho Love" Transparent Seamless Overlay Templates w/Free Gift Copyright © 2009 Roberta B. Dugan Date: August 2009 Author: fractalartist01/Roberta B. Dugan Product Description: This is a designer resource package and part of a series of tools called "Design Your Own." This series is dedicated to helping designers save a little time and add some variety, while still being able to create beautiful graphics, background papers and scrapbook layouts! There are so many ways you can use these overlays. --The 5 paper overlays/templates in "Boho Love" are transparent and seamless PNG files, which means that you add your own backgrounds. You are also free to style the damask patterns in any way you like! Use layer styles or an action. Or use a pattern fill of your own to fill the damask ornaments. The white background is for preview purposes only amd so are any dropshadows that you might see. Reduce the patterns and make seamless tiles out of them. As you can see from the product pages, I used a golden text preset. System Requirements: PC All of the content in this package was created by fractalartist01/Roberta B Dugan, and may include derivatives of the following Vendor/Merchant resources: Floral Vector Ornaments by Dover Pictura, College Girl Characters on product example page by: Outlaw By Design Needed programs or files that not supplied in this archive: Any photo-editing/painting program that imports/reads PNG files ie: Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements, Photoshop, etc. Instructions: Unzip the zipped archive file and extract images to a folder of your choice...always work on a COPY and out the original back in your folder. Have fun creating new designs! These images have been tested and used for design in Photoshop CS2, Paint Shop Pro 8.10 and Paint Shop Pro X. Usage Tips: If you want to use two different colors/patterns or styles, just select part of the template with your magic wand (for example: black) and then>Select>Similar. Photoshop will select all of the black areas of the page for you. Or you can simply use the entire sheet as an overlay for another colored background paper-and play with the "Blend Modes" in both PSP, Photoshop Elements or Photoshop to make your own unique design! Yet another alternative is to select and fill parts of the overlay (on a seperate layer) and then apply layer styles or filters in coordinating/complimentary or contrasting colors or patterns. --Emboss, Texturize, Use Metallic or Gel Filters! Use the Burn, Overlay, Multiply or Soft-Light Blend Mode settings. With or without a bevel or dropshadow. The only limit to what you can design with this background papers template set is your own creative imagination! --Be sure to check-out the examples and close-ups that took only a minute or two to create. Designers: You can play with these patterns all day long and no two will ever come out exactly the same! Damask is for almost any time of year. And most of you probably already know that besides being beautiful-damask wallpaper patterns are currently very hot in the graphics industry right now! --Since these are seamless you can also reduce and use as tiles or textures! Just make sure to use the "Unsharp Mask" to be certain that your overlay image remains crisp and clear. Limitations: No limits as long as your program can import and edit large png files. You CAN use these images to create/incorporate into any NEW personal or commercial works. You can not however re-distribute or sell them in their original raw form or in a modified form as an .psd file, .png file, brush set, etc. If your product will be in .psd or png format you need to rasterize/merge the layers that have the images included/applied to them in order to make the ORIGINAL images unavailable for re-use as they are-in their raw form. Any other types of merged file formats are perfectly acceptable for commercial or personal use!
