All poses are on the ground/floor but they are very varied in mood and feel: from simpler and "everyday" to more sensual, plastic and artistic! 1) All our poses are build to look good from all around, we carefully follow the animation golden rule of balance on our poses and give "weight" to the character. 2) In some poses part of V4 body will go "under" the ground level, this was done on purpose to simulate the interaction between body (that is not rigid) and ground and to avoid the floating effect of a 3D body that does not "soften" on a rigid ground/plane. If you use either IDL or Ambient Occlusion this will actually add realism to your pose/image! 3) The poses were perfected on V4 therefore they may not look 100% ok when using custom characters of morphs such as Alice, Utopian, Aiko or the Girl, for example, however adjusting them to these character is very easy. Usually if the hands end up far from the body just adjust the Shoulder values (Up/Down or Front/Back or, rarely, Twist) or just bend the hand when it pokes-through parts of the body such as legs etc. 5) These notes should clear most of your doubts or questions about "On The Floor" poses package and its features but should you run into any issues or have any doubt and/or suggestion don't hesitate to contact us, we'll be more than glad to help out. ******************** RENDERING TIPS ******************** IMPORTANT: always remember that the final outcome heavily depends on your lighting and render settings. To P5/P6/P7 users we strongly recommend the use of the Firefly engine for your final renders, as the result are far better than with the P4 and because it exploits the shaders included in the package; it is also more precise by and large and allows the use of other important features such as raytracing and displacement maps. We also suggest to not use Auto settings but custom Manual ones, for a good outcome of any texture (clothes, skin, hair) (P5 to P8): - the min shading rate should be set to anything near 0.2 - the pixel sample should be set to at least 6 - the irradiance caching should be set to anything between 75% and 100% (the higher the better) - always leave the USE DISPLACEMENT MAPS CHECKED - always check both the cast shadows and raytracing boxes.
