02.10.2009 Swimmingpool 01 Ver.1.0 ======================= This poser pack includes a high detailed swimmingpool, add-ons and water textures. You can use them for your individual sceneries. Some of the items got morphs included, f.e. you can use a springy diveboard or an animated water surface (Please read Chapter '2.5. water' carefully). This pack contains high detailed textures, poses and morphs. Make sure your Poser version is able to use texture files with 6000x4500 in size (No problem for Poser7, SP3) More add-ons (whirlpool, gadgets) are coming soon. Features: - swimminpool - high detailed diving board - animated water (surface) - extra pavement - morphs for jumping on board - morphs for animating water surface - extra textures for Swimingpool pavement diveboard water - pool lights - poses for several MAT-Poses water transparency water animation Contains: ..\runtime\Geometries\DMK-Buildings\ 01_SPool_01_water.obj diveboard_1m.obj swimmingpool_01.obj swimmingpool_add_01.obj ..\runtime\Libraries\Character\DMK-Buildings\ 01_DiveBoard_01.cr2 01_DiveBoard_01.png 01_SWPool01.cr2 01_SwPool01.png 01_SwPool01_Add01.cr2 01_SwPool01_Add01.png 01_SwPool01_Complete.cr2 01_SwPool01_Complete.png 01_SwPool01_water.PNG 01_SwPool01_water.cr2 ..\runtime\Libraries\Light\DMK-LIGHTS\ 01_SwPool01_Lights.lt2 01_SwPool01_Lights.png SkyLight.lt2 SkyLight.png _PoserDefault_Lights.lt2 _PoserDefault_Lights.png ..\runtime\Libraries\Pose\DMK-Buildings\ 01_DiveBoardJump.png 01_DiveBoardJump.pz2 01_MATSwPool01_1.png 01_MATSwPool01_1.pz2 01_MATSwPool01_2.png 01_MATSwPool01_2.pz2 01_MATSwPool01_3.png 01_MATSwPool01_3.pz2 01_MATSwPool01_def.png 01_MATSwPool01_def.pz2 01_MATWater_Def.png 01_MATWater_Def.pz2 01_MATWater_Glassy.png 01_MATWater_Glassy.pz2 01_MATWater_Swim.png 01_MATWater_clear.png 01_MATWater_clear.pz2 01_MATWater_murky.png 01_MATWater_murky.pz2 01_MATWater_swim.pz2 01_SwPool_Anim.png 01_SwPool_Anim.pz2 ..\runtime\Textures\DMK-Buildings\ SwPool01.jpg SwPool_MAT01.JPG SwPool_MAT02.JPG SwPool_MAT03.JPG SwPool_MATdefault.jpg diveboard_1m.jpg swimmingpool_01_water.jpg swimmingpool_01_water_bum.JPG ..\runtime\ license.txt 0. How to install SwPool01: ============================= 0.1. Copy files to your runtime libraries 1. How to use SwPool01: =========================== First before you start (optional).... - deactivate 'Ground shadows' (see Display -> Ground Shadows ) - Choose prop 'Ground', open dialogbox and unmark 'visible' Now start and choose one item out of your library Goto Figures -> DMK-Buildings 1.1. Single add of items ------------------------ - 01_SwPool01 (Swimmingpool) - 01_SwPool01_water (Water) Optional: - 01_DiveBoard01 Move Board into position (deep end of the pool) - 01_SwPool01_Add01 (an extra sidewalk) - 01_SwPool01_Lights (Pool-lights, Lights -> DMK-LIGHTS -> 01_SwPool01_Lights) - SkyLight (Pool-lights, Lights -> DMK-LIGHTS -> SkyLight) Atmosphere Lights for better renders 1.2. Load complete scene to display ----------------------------------- All items move to display. Ready in position and all items set parent to 01_SwPool01. 2. How to use the items and build a scenery: ============================================= 2.1. Swimmingpool (01_SwPool01) -------------------------------- This pool is ready for posing. Move it to the place you decide. Choose one of at least four textures. For this goto (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) Click on Swimingpool and apply one of the textures. Yes - the hatch! Watch out for our next products. As far as we can say - think of James Bond who once escaped underwater out of a pool through a tube. 2.2. Dive board (01_DiveBoard01) --------------------------------- Apply Diveboard to display and move it the right place. Perhaps set board parent to swimmingpool. Use morph dial to let the board 'spring' up and down. You find the morph by choosing joint 'board' and morph called 'board-up' and 'board-down'. A useful morph for animated clips where people jump into the water. 2.3. Additional sidewalk ------------------------ You may add this sidewalk to complete your scenery. Use it's morph to rescale the sidewalk in length. There is another product in progress (Whirpool) which needs the help of this morph. 2.4. Add Pool lights -------------------- If you like night scenes add '01_SwPool01_Lights' to your display. There are seven lights build in the pool wall. The lights are placed in front of the light glass. Apply (one hook, not 'select' with double hook) to display. Sorry - but if you want to switch off or dimm the light you have to click on each light and correct the value of intensity manually. 2.5. Water ---------- This is the most tricky point of adding (nearly) realistic water into Poser. It is hard as possible to let the water showing in a realistic way. We tried our very best and here we go and show you our way: First add water (01_SwPool01_water) to display. Optional set water parent to swimmingpool. Optional you may change to 'Pose -> DMK-Buildings' and choose some MAT-Poses. Here you can find - 01_MATWater_clear -> Transparency of surface is 0.9, means clear water - 01_MATWater_murky -> Transparency of surface is 0.1, means murky water - 01_MATWater_Glassy -> Quiet Surface - 01_MATWater_Swimmer -> First settings for swimmer's pose - 01_SwPool_Anim -> Animated surface The water is seperated in two joints - without swimmer (joint -> water) --------------------------------- As default the water is in move like someone has left the water and the last little waves on surface are rolling against the pool-wall. You can variate the intense of the waves by using the the morph-dial wavy - flat - wavy The value is limited from 0 to 2 which means you start with wavy water at 0 turn over to silence water at 1 and turn back to wavy water wit 2. With the help of this morph you are able to animate wavy surfaces by moving the value form 0 to 2 and back to 0. - with swimmer (joint water_swimmer) -------------------------------------- Not an easy going. We decided to make sure one swimmer can move through the water and leave some little extra waves around himself. First add the swimmer to display and move him right in place. Next pose the water around him. First we suggest in changing the 'Document Display Style' to 'Smooth Lined'. The surface is of transparent kind and you can't see the wavy spot. 'Smooth Lined' is a little helper in moving the spot right in place. After you have finished the move change back to your 'Document Display Style' you like. Then enter 'joint -> water ' and set dial morph wavy - flat - wavy to 0.2 up to 0.7. Now choose joint -> 'water_swimmer' Optional use pose '01_MATWater_Swim' (Pose -> DMK-Buildings) to get the above setting in one click. There are several morphs which helps you in styling the surface. As you can see the wavy spot can be found in the shallow part (entry) of the pool. Use dial-morphs - horizontal - vertical to place the wavy spot round your swimmer. Adjust the wavy spot by using dial-morphs - flat - scale_y - scale_x to your purpose. 3. Hints: ========= 3.1. make sure you had clicked on item before you are going to use pose for changing position or textures 3.2. Transparency of the water surface depends on the camera angle. In case your view is from high above change to higher transparency, else decrease transparency down to zero until you got the best result. 3.3. Get best render results with setting on 'Final' and more (Render -> Render Settings -> Fire Fly -> Final) Please note: Best renders may take some time until render is finished 3.4. Please check the limit of texture size if you are going to work with this pack outside Poser 7, SP3, OS Windows XP or OS Windows Vista 64 bit Our textures are in size of 6000x4500 pixels. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
