It will take less time to read this for the useful tips than to figure things out by trial and error. See the Trapper Canoe Props.pdf in the ReadMe's folder. In that PDF file are easy visual instructions for placing and making smart-props for most of the Trapper Kit props for both M4 and V4. 1. Poses were designed within mesh Limits. Turn Limits OFF when applying or saving hand poses in Poser. For best results turn OFF Inverse Kinematics (IK) when applyng and re-saving poses. 2. All canoeist poses load in relation to the default loading position of the Trapper Canoe. Once the canoe paddles are attached to M4's and V4's right hands, the paddles will follow the action of all other poses, including paddling on both sides of the canoe. There are left- and right-side paddlers in two canoe sections for both M4 and V4. As is, you can position 2 M4 and one V4 paddlers with these poses. You can add more paddlers and move them along the Z-axis to add a 4th paddler or passenger. Moving the 2 basic poses for each figure along the Z-axis allows you to have 4 male paddlers or 4 female paddlers, or any combination of them. A solo canoeist will sit in the very back of the canoe, the power position. A solo paddler will paddle left and right in sequence to go in a straight line. 2 or 4 paddlers will usually paddle one side continuously. Any number of canoeists will paddle on the same side when turning direction. 3. All M4 and V4 poses were created with bare feet. Adding footwear may require adjustments. 4. An M4 loader pose is included to load and fit the snowshoes. Apply the M4 loader pose. Add the snowshoes and apply the right and left scaling poses for them. They will position and fit M4's feet. Set the right and left feet as the Parents for each snowshoe after posing them. Once the snowshoes are attached apply M4 walking poses. You will need to adjust the Shoe part to achieve the swing of the snowshoes that occurs when walking in them. You may want to research pictures of people walking in snowshoes for accuracy. Walking in them is more like marching than strolling. Snowshoes act much like flip-flop thong shoes, the back swings down, then up to smack the heels. Try walking in some flip-flops and you will get the idea how snowshoes work. The snowshoe fit to M4 is not a perfect one. The Trapper Kit snowshoes were designed long before M4 was born. The poke-thru is very slight and would not show in most renders. Perfectionists can perhaps adjust the snowshoes with magnets. 5. None of the CR2 props, traps and fur hides, are pre-attached to any figure. They will pose (poses included) to position in relation to the people poses. Attach the Body of any CR2 prop to M4 or V4 (to whatever relevant Parent) to move them with the figures. 6. Using the partial canoe poses you can convert other M4 and V4 poses to canoeist poses. 7. Included are 2 free simple ramrod props for loading the rifle and pistol. These are included free, as is, with no textures or templates.
