Starship Cargo Bay for Poser 5 and above Directions: Extract all files into your Poser (C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser) Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > Bandolin > CargoBay. 3) Double-click the CargoBay to add it to your scene. 4) Add your desired Poser people and cargo containers to suit the needs of your scene. To change the colors of the containers: 1) Go to Poses > CargoBay. 2) Apply the MAT pose to the appropriate container. Hide/ show poses for each wall are included in the Poses > folder also. Note that the hide/ show poses will also hide and show any doors with the wall. Notes: 1) The CargoBay will load to the center of your scene. 2) Make sure that when you move the CargoBay have either the Body or Floor part selected. 3) All doors can be opened and closed with limits forced so they can't move more than they should. 4) This product uses bump maps to enhance the realism. Camera Notes: Included with this package are 6 Camera positions. You can use these camera positions to quickly move around the room or as a starting position to adjust your scene. The Cameras have been set with a Focal length of 21 mm. The reason for this is it allows maximum panoramic view without too much distortion. Reducing the Focal length to less than 18 mm is not recommended as this will cause a distorted perspective. Lighting Notes: There are a lot of lights: 17 spot lights with shadows turned on and one point light (shadow off). They have been added for maximum realism. If there is nothing happening on the catwalk, you could turn off the shadows on those lights. It will speed up rendering and not affect realism. The point light is there to simulate GI (Global Illumination). The Poser Firefly renderer does not calculate bounced light therefore the room is too dark. The lights have been deliberately set dim to achieve a more intimate mood. To brighten the light level do not adjust the individual spot lights. This will simply cause unsightly hotspots and not necessarily brighten the room. Instead, increase the intensity of the single point light. This is easier and achieves a nicer result.
