IanMPalmer's Return To Driza: Small Homes copyright May 2010 Ian M. Palmer. This product is for Poser versions 4 and later. It hasn't been tested in DAZ/Studio, but is likely to work. It can be imported, without morphs, into any 3D programme capable of importing .OBJ files with .jpg textures. All of this product's content was created by Ian M. Palmer. Use it as you like, but don't redistribute or claim any part of it as your own. The zip for download includes: ReadMe.txt (This file) Renderosity License.txt IMPDesertCityDoor1.OBJ IMPDesertCityHouses1.OBJ IMPDesertCityShutter1.OBJ DesertCityHouses1.cr2 DesertCityHouses1.rsr IMPDesertCity1.jpg IMPDesertCity2.jpg IMPDesertCity3.jpg PNG files for post-Poser 4 thumbnails have not been provided. In Poser 5-7, using the P4 renderer and setting "ignore shader trees" will allow ambient glow, if used in this product, to work as intended. Poser 8 users may need to make other adjustments. To install, open the zip file in WinZip or some other software capable of opening and extracting .zip format files (Windows XP, Vista, etc., incorporates this facility). Extract directly to your Poser Runtime folder. If the download can't be extracted because it shows with a .ez extension, simply change the extension to .zip and proceed. Installation should direct the files as follows: To Runtime\Geometries\IMP, IMPDesertCityDoor1.OBJ IMPDesertCityHouses1.OBJ IMPDesertCityShutter1.OBJ To Runtime\Libraries\Props\IMP, DesertCityHouses1.cr2 DesertCityHouses1.rsr To Runtime\Textures\IMP. IMPDesertCity1.jpg IMPDesertCity2.jpg IMPDesertCity3.jpg It will also, if you let it, deliver this ReadMe.txt and the Renderosity License.txt to Poser 4, overwriting files with the same name installed previously. Some of my models are large (not necessarily in filesize, but in relation to Poser figures). For convenience in navigating and in positioning cameras, this model might not be scaled to fit Poser figures. To incorporate figures or other models, simply scale appropriately. Occasionally, exporting from Poser to other programs will generate problems where material names recur. Please check for material name duplication before exporting, and consider exporting in several parts, or renaming materials in Poser or a text editor or other software before exporting. Some model series use modular elements in model construction. Elements such as cockpits, seats, doors, etc., will recur. Thanks to the people who helped me learn to do this. Have fun. IMP.
