Art Nouveau began in Europe before the turn of the century in opposition to the over ornate formal compositions of Victorian art styles. Art Nouveau was greatly influenced by Japanese woodcuts, displaying a more organic style that allowed for a more freeform design. This led to flowing curves, stylized floral and natural elements that were used in everything from art, jewelry, furniture design and architecture. These 12 historical designs reflect both traditional Art Nouveau styles as well as modern interpretations. At 300 dpi on a transparent background with no drop shadows, these large high resolution images are perfect for both print and web applications. Please see readme file for exact sizes. The background in the promotional images is not included. 

This product may be used for commercial projects.
