So, my intention (obviously) was, to make cartoon character. And that is what you get. Some things you need to know to work flawless with Valentina: - the figure setup is fully Poser-compatible. That means, we have got two times five three-parted fingers, toes and feet, shins, thighs, forearms, shouldersm collars and as bodybase the regular hip->abdomen->chest->neck->head hierarchy. *B*U*T*: the face is a separate actor (which is parented to the head) and the face carries all the settings you would expect to be in the head actor of a human figure. Nothing else differs from the normal workflow. Yes, there IS a reason for this set-up. Putting such a charater together for Poser is a lot of work. To be able to offer the figure at an acceptable price, I will introduce you - during the next months - to some sisters of Valentina. And those sisters will use parts of the face settings. To make it easier to work with the body posing(after ALL of my testers attempting to kill either themselves or me during the first testing-round), after removing the blood stains and replacing the testers, I added a set of bones to the actors that are not visible in render. These bones are now visible in the Poser preview and clearly speed up posing. You will also notice the Poser transparency bug when watching the face (which uses a transparency map to blend smoothly to the head.) Do yourself a favour and read on to the hints for the CircleOfHearts and to the ones for the Wings. They contain information you may find helpful. ***** **Circle Of Hearts 5910 polygons *Groups and Materials: 492 polygons - Group a01 - Material h01 492 polygons - Group a02 - Material h02 492 polygons - Group a03 - Material h03 492 polygons - Group a04 - Material h04 492 polygons - Group a05 - Material h05 492 polygons - Group a06 - Material h06 492 polygons - Group a07 - Material h07 492 polygons - Group a08 - Material h08 492 polygons - Group a09 - Material h09 492 polygons - Group a10 - Material h10 492 polygons - Group a11 - Material h11 492 polygons - Group a12 - Material h12 8 polygons - Group control - Material control (off in Render) Hints: -The hearts share the same UVMap. By giving every heart it's own MaterialGroup, it becomes possible to apply a dedicated material to each of them. -Two mat presets for the hearts are stored in the "Material" folder for this product -The circle figure is NOT set up as conforming. This means, you should PARENT the Circle to something it should move along with. I decided to have it organized this way, cause it enables you to apply the Circle to just anything you want to be surrounded by hearts, not just Valentinas face. Thus, you can easily rescale the figure as such, as well as work with more than one Circle -Nine remote settings are stored in the CONTROL actor of the figure. Simply select it as ususal and work from there. The CONTROL actor appears in the Poser review as a grey cube with green edges. It will NOT appear in your renders! ****** **Wings: 15050 polygons *Groups (~ actors in Poser) 6 polygons - control (off in Render) 200 polygons - lWing_a1 382 polygons - lWing_a2 200 polygons - lWing_b1 302 polygons - lWing_b2 200 polygons - lWing_c1 302 polygons - lWing_c2 120 polygons - lWing_d1 222 polygons - lWing_d2 343 polygons - lWing0 5251 polygons - lWing1 200 polygons - rWing_a1 382 polygons - rWing_a2 200 polygons - rWing_b1 302 polygons - rWing_b2 200 polygons - rWing_c1 302 polygons - rWing_c2 120 polygons - rWing_d1 222 polygons - rWing_d2 343 polygons - rWing0 5251 polygons - rWing1 *MaterialGroups Control (off in Render) Wings (UVMapped) Feathers (UVMapped) -The Wings figure is NOT set up as conforming. This means, you should PARENT the Wings to something it should move along with. I decided to have it organized this way, cause it enables you to apply the Wings to just anything you want to be winged, not just Valentinas body. Thus, you can easily rescale the figure as such, as well as work with more than one pair of wings -Twelve remote settings are stored in the CONTROL actor of the figure. Simply select it as ususal and work from there. The CONTROL actor appears in the Poser review as a grey cube with green edges.
