Author: VanishingPoint Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj files into Runtime\Geometries\VP Put the cm2/ png (camera files) into Runtime\Libraries\Camera\VP\Brownstone Put the cr2/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\VP\Brownstone Put the mt5/ png (camera files) into Runtime\Libraries\Materials\VP\Brownstone Put the jpg files (textures) into Runtime\Textures\VP\brownstone You can put the pz3 (scene file) into any folder, but be sure to remember where you extracted it. Instructions: 1) Go to the Figures > VP > Brownstone Library. 2) Add the Brownstone (building) or Trees to your scene. OR 1) Go to File > Open and open the existing Brownstone1.pz3 scene file. To change the colors of the buildings, leaves, or tree bark: 1) Go to the Material Room. 2) Go to the Material > VP > Brownstone Library. 3) Select a surface material you want to change; for example Tree4Leaf or MidBuilding_BrickWall 3) Apply any of the material presets to the selected surface material. Note: the material preset will ONLY change the selected material and NOT the entire model. To change the camera angle: 1) Go to the Cameras > VP > Brownstone Library. 2) Apply any of the camera presets to change the camera angle. Use these presets to render your scene or as a starting point. Notes: 1) This building is scaled to the size of the Poser people and is approximately three-stories tall, compared to the roughly 6 ft tall Poser male figure. Because of this, the model may look very large when loaded into Poser. The model will load roughly centered in the scene, positioned in front of the MidBuilding stairwell. From there, you can add people or characters or adjust the camera angle. 2) The top of the sidewalk is at ground level so you don't need to reposition any other figures. Make sure to turn Poser's Ground Plane *off* (or "not visible") or it may show through the sidewalk. 3) This building set is designed for use a facade, so the doors and windows are not rigged to open. 4) The lighting in the scene file includes ray-traced shadows and Ambient Occlusion (AO) for added shadow details. Both of these options may increase render times, though rendering a scene using ray-traced shadows should take less time than using depth-mapped shadows. To reduce the render time, you can turn AO off by going to the Main light Properties and un-checking the option for Ambient Occlusion.
