Cute Mini - for Miki 3 =============================== © Copyright 2011 Kerstin Weihe (karanta) All Rights Reserved ****************************************************************************** The dress in this set can only be used in the Poser Cloth Room. It can not be used with Daz Studio. For using this product you need to have one of the Miki 3. http://www.contentparadise.com/productDetails.aspx?id=13111 The dress was only tested with Poser 8 / Poser Pro 2010 - but should work with other Poser versions too =============================================================================== ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load Miki 3 and the dress into your scene: - Click on Miki 3, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Window - Joint Editor" , select Miki 3 and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the dress into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the dress - it will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose Miki 3. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has Miki 3 displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 and add a pose to Miki 3. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is to smooth for your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for a pose. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. ********************************** Have fun :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta ____________________________________________________________ Filelist: license0409.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\ KWM3_CuteMiniHR.obj KWM3_CuteMiniHR_TR.obj KWM3_CuteMiniLR.obj KWM3_CuteMiniLR_TR.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Miki 3 Cute Mini\ 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Miki 3 Cute Mini\ !Info.png !Info.pp2 HR - TR Dress.png HR - TR Dress.pp2 HR Dress.png HR Dress.pp2 LR - TR Dress.png LR - TR Dress.pp2 LR Dress.png LR Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Readme\ M3_CuteMini_readme.txt ..\Runtime\Textures\KARANTA\KWM3_CuteMini\ KWM3_CuteMini_Template.png KWMiki3_CuteMini01.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMini02.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMini03.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMini04.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMini05.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMini06.jpg KWMiki3_CuteMiniB.jpg
