CHINA SILK FOR V4 & MAVKA Copyright 2011 - Fisty of Lune Designs (Emily England) Contact via Renderosity or DAZ private message ------------------------------------------------------ Poser dynamic clothing for Victoria 4 by DAZ and Mavka by Smay, includes pants and shirt for both figures and 12 textures for each set of clothes. All textures use diffuse, bump, and displacement maps and include material collection presets (mc6) to apply them. The dynamic properties are already set up for best results in most poses and the dynamic groups are already assigned where needed. ------------------------------------------------------ System requirements: This will work on PC or MAC, it is not an overly resource intensive outfit. Needed Applications and products: POSER version 6 or higher is required to use this product. Victoria 4 or Mavka to put these on would be a good idea as well, though given the nature of Poser dynamics you could probably squeeze just about any figure into these if you're clever. Victoria 4 - http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/victoria-4-2?item=4783 Mavka - http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/mavka/80108 **THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK IN DAZ STUDIO AT ALL** ------------------------------------------------------ Installation instructions: Unzip into the folder containing your Poser Runtime ------------------------------------------------------ Usage tips and tricks: Quick info for experienced users: -Drape the pants first then make a new simulation for the shirt and drape it second, make sure the pants are not set to collide with the shirt but the shirt -is- set to collide with the pants. -It works best if all three collision boxes are checked in the simulation settings for the pants and none are checkmarked for the shirt. -On the pants Collision Offset and Collision Depth should both be 0.15 or less - this is very important! ******* Step by step for new drapers: 1: Load Mavka or Victoria 4 from your figures library, turn of IK and zero the figure (joint editor window). 2: Move the timeline slider over to frame 15, apply your desired character morph and pose, move the slider back to frame 1. 3: Load the applicable trousers from your props library. 4: Assure that the "ChinaPant" prop is selected and click over to the Cloth room. 5: Click on "New Simulation", a box will pop up. For the pants you will want to checkmark all three little squares under Collision Options and then click ok. 6: Click on "Clothify", a box will pop up, choose ChinaPant in the pulldown if they're not already chosen and click clothify. 7: Click on "Collide Against", a box will pop up, click "Add/Remove", checkmark Mavka or Vicky and whatever else the cloth may touch, use your judgement, this will vary by scene and pose. Don't checkmark hair or it will take forever and look terrible. Make sure the shirt is not checkmarked if you already loaded it, click ok when done. 8: You will be back on the Cloth Collision Objects box again, change Collision Offset and Collision Depth both to 0.15 or less. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT the waistband is snugly fitted and constrained, if you don't change those two sliders the waistband will blow up like a balloon (If you ever have to change what is checkmarked in add/remove it will reset those depth sliders, so watch out for that.) Checkmark ignore head and hand collisions if possible, don't ignore feet collisions, the pants need to be able to puddle on them. Click ok. 9: Click "Calculate Simulation" and wait, don't freak out if it looks weird as it's calculating, it usually does. 10: Go back to the Pose room if needed, select your figure's "body" and load the shirt from your props library. Assure the shirt is selected and go back to the cloth room. 11: Click on "New Simulation", a box will pop up. For the shirt you will want to leave all three little squares under Collision Options NOT checkmarked and then click ok. 12: Click on "Clothify", a box will pop up, choose ChinaShirt in the pulldown if it's not already chosen and click clothify. 13: Click on "Collide Against", a box will pop up, click "Add/Remove", checkmark Mavka or Vicky and whatever else the cloth may touch, use your judgement, this will vary by scene and pose. Don't checkmark hair or it will take forever and look terrible. Make sure ChinaPant IS checkmarked, click ok when done. 14: You will be back on the Cloth Collision Objects box again, change Collision Offset and Collision Depth both to 0.20 or less but don't make it less than what you set the pants to. Checkmark ignore head, hand, and feet collisions if possible. Click ok. 15: Click "Calculate Simulation" and wait, don't freak out if it looks weird as it's calculating, it usually does. 16: Go back to the pose room and figure out which frame looks best between 16 and 30, add your lights and other object to that frame for your final render. ******* Tips: -It comes out best if the hip stays resonably in one place so if you want her sitting or kneeling it is best to have a plane (like the hi-rez square from props library) come up to meet her rather than having her fall to the ground. -The items load parented to her so it's very easy to move her around after the draping is complete. -Keep in mind how material may get caught between body parts, don't be afraid to change some of the joint positioning between frames 1 and 15 to get the most fluid motion without fabric trapping. ------------------------------------------------------ Merchant resources used are on file with Renderosity ------------------------------------------------------ File list: \runtime\Geometries\LuneDesigns\China ************************************* LDChinaPantMAV.obj LDChinaPantV4.obj LDChinaShirtMAV.obj LDChinaShirtV4.obj \runtime\Libraries\Materials\ChinaSilk ************************************** 1Pant-Red1.mc6 1Pant-Red1.png 1Pant-Red2.mc6 1Pant-Red2.png 1Top-Red1.mc6 1Top-Red1.png 1Top-Red2.mc6 1Top-Red2.png 2Pant-Purple1.mc6 2Pant-Purple1.png 2Pant-Purple2.mc6 2Pant-Purple2.png 2Top-Purple1.mc6 2Top-Purple1.png 2Top-Purple2.mc6 2Top-Purple2.png 3Pant-Blue1.mc6 3Pant-Blue1.png 3Pant-Blue2.mc6 3Pant-Blue2.png 3Top-Blue1.mc6 3Top-Blue1.png 3Top-Blue2.mc6 3Top-Blue2.png 4Pant-Green1.mc6 4Pant-Green1.png 4Pant-Green2.mc6 4Pant-Green2.png 4Top-Green1.mc6 4Top-Green1.png 4Top-Green2.mc6 4Top-Green2.png 5Pant-Purple1.mc6 5Pant-Purple1.png 5Pant-Purple2.mc6 5Pant-Purple2.png 5Top-Purple1.mc6 5Top-Purple1.png 5Top-Purple2.mc6 5Top-Purple2.png 6Pant-Cream1.mc6 6Pant-Cream1.png 6Pant-Cream2.mc6 6Pant-Cream2.png 6Top-Cream1.mc6 6Top-Cream1.png 6Top-Cream2.mc6 6Top-Cream2.png a-Button-Yellow.mc6 a-Button-Yellow.png b-Button-Red.mc6 b-Button-Red.png c-Button-Periwinkle.mc6 c-Button-Periwinkle.png d-Button-Mauve.mc6 d-Button-Mauve.png e-Button-Blue.mc6 e-Button-Blue.png f-Button-Opal.mc6 f-Button-Opal.png g-Button-Silver.mc6 g-Button-Silver.png h-Button-Green.mc6 h-Button-Green.png i-Button-Black.mc6 i-Button-Black.png j-Button-Purple.mc6 j-Button-Purple.png k-Button-Cream.mc6 k-Button-Cream.png l-Button-White.mc6 l-Button-White.png \runtime\Libraries\Props\China Silk Dynamic ******************************************* Mav-ChinaPant.png Mav-ChinaPant.pp2 Mav-ChinaShirt.png Mav-ChinaShirt.pp2 V4-ChinaPant.png V4-ChinaPant.pp2 V4ChinaShirt.png V4ChinaShirt.pp2 \runtime\Readme *************** ChinaSilkDynamicReadme.txt License.txt \runtime\Templates\ChinaSilkDynamic *********************************** LDChinaPantTemplate.jpg LDChinaShirtTemplate.jpg \runtime\Textures\LuneDesigns\China *********************************** 0LDChinaShirtDIS.jpg 1aLDChinaPantBUM.jpg 1aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 1aLDChinaShirtBUM.jpg 1aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 1LDChinaPantBUM.jpg 1LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 1LDChinaShirtBUM.jpg 1LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 2aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 2aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 2LDChinaPantBUM.jpg 2LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 2LDChinaShirtBUM.jpg 2LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 3aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 3aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 3LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 3LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 4aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 4aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 4LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 4LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 5aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 5aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 5LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 5LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 6aLDChinaPantTEX.jpg 6aLDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 6LDChinaPantBUM.jpg 6LDChinaPantTEX.jpg 6LDChinaShirtBUM.jpg 6LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg 7LDChinaShirtTEX.jpg
