Upon opening the scene, Vue will ask for the textures. Just point Vue to where you extracted the folders and all should load just fine. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Can be system intense depending on system. I find I have to frequently go to file>purge memory. Takes a while to load scene. Be patient. -------------------------------------- Files Included in the Product: Swidhelm's Raceway Welcome Ladies and Gents. This is my first foray into digital environments for Vue. The idea for modeling a racetrack was the result of looking for good environments to render cars in and in particular because I wanted to model and render some race cars down the road, such as the Ford GT 40, or some other such track car. Being a full digital environment, you can place your camera just about anywhere and render. The details should be high enough to support close-up renders on the track, but many textures had to be reduced in resolution to get the product files small enough for download. The Parking lot is particularly small, but I would assume most if not all renders would be from the track itself, so I didn't put much work into the parking lot. A note on comparability: I created this in Vue 6 so it should work just fine in 6 and up. However, it also uses quite a bit of RAM. My system only has a measly 2 Gigs of ram and the scene is slow to load. I also have to purge the memory nearly right away, and wait a bit more (near ten minutes) before I can use the scene.
