Place the Photo_Actions.atn file into: C: -> Program Files [or Program Files (x86) if using Windows 7] -> Adobe -> Adobe Photoshop CS3 (or whichever version you using) -> Presets -> Actions. To load the Actions from Photoshop, click Windows -> Actions. This will open the Actions tab. In the Actions window, click the small downward-facing arrow in the upper right hand corner (the one with the little lines next to it). A drop down menu will appear. Click Load Actions. Navigate to the folder where you put the Actions (C: -> Program Files [or Program Files (x86) if using Windows 7] -> Adobe -> Adobe Photoshop CS3 (or whichever version you using) -> Presets -> Actions). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: The "Infrared" action *WILL* collapse all layers in the image into a single layer. If you are concerned about this because you are working on an image with several layers that you need to keep, I suggest creating a separate image file for the portion of the image you intend to use this action on, use the infrared action on it, and then copy that layer back into the main image you are working on. The "Day for Night" action was created with the intended use on landscapes. This is not to suggest you can't use it on other images (and experimentation is encouraged!), but please be advised it may produce different results depending on the lighting and tone of the other images you use. For the "Heavy Grain" action, image size *WILL* aftect the level of graininess; if you want a smaller grain, make sure to use the action on a larger image size; if you want a larger grain, use the action on a smaller image size. SPECIAL NOTE: For users of Photoshop versions CS and CS2, this product was created in Photoshop CS3, but should in theory work fine in these lower-version programs.
