====================================================================== ************************************************************ *Product Name: Living Doll for Antonia - a merchant resource *Copyright May 14 2011 *By: SaintFox and Digital-Lion ************************************************************ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ System Requirements: Every graphic applicaton that handles psd-files - the product was tested with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements Antonia 1.2 Antonia is available for free here: http://antonia.bluecho4u3d.com/database/sites/base_figure.htm This resource is made for the standard Antonia mapping and will not fit the "A" version! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thank you for choosing Living Doll for Antonia, we hope you will enjoy your purchase! Living Doll is a realistic merchant resource made entirly from photos (except some minor painted parts for the eyes, bumps and the lashes) that comes with a complete set of high quality bump maps. Great care went into keeping as much detail as possible and into cleaning up seams to make your life easier when creating your own characters with this set, regardless if you want them for commercial products or for your personal use. The fact that you are even able to use this set in Photoshop Elements makes this resource the ideal tool for every beginner - and the highly detailed textures and many options will satisfy the needs of advanced merchants as well! Every basic texture (head, torso, arms, legs, eyewhites and brow an lash transmaps) comes without special features: No lips or brows, no nipples, navel, knees or iris. All additional features are kept on seperate layers, most of them come in several variations. Important Usage Info: By buying this merchant resource you are allowed to use the content in parts or in a whole as a base for your own commercial textures and character sets. However this resource is not meant to be used as is. The fact that the features are kept on seperate layers makes it easy for you to add your own ideas and combine things. While it's allowed to use the resource only to create new characters we highly encourage you to make your creation your own by adding veins, different features, makeup, tattoos and what else may come to your mind. Please keep in mind that if you alter things you may have to alter the bumpmap(s) as well! Use the many options to combine features, add your own detail to create something unique that stands out from the crowd! Because knee- and elbow details are kept on seperate layers it may be necessary to blend them into the underlying skin by altering the transparency, using the healing brush when merged and so on. Please double-check your final textures with several material settings and poses before releasing and alter things where needed. A NEEDFUL HINT!! If you want to work with an eraser to shape brows or other features we recommend the use of an uneven brush for the eraser. Look for a set of brushes with "skin structure", use the one you like best and rotate the most uneven part to the side where you want to erase parts of the texture. Now use the eraser more like a stamp than like a brush and with some practise you will get much softer edges that blend into the underlying areas in a most natural way. A WORD ABOUT MATERIAL SETTINGS: If you are unsure how to set up Antonia's materials you can refer to our free character set "Antonia Polygon" to find out about one of many ways to create a nice "skin". The VSS version is basing on bagginsbill's VSS material system. You are NOT allowed to use it as is but as soon as you create all textures (color textures, bumps, masks for shine if desired) you can use it for your own creations. Keep in mind that VSS needs a different lighting than other skin material-systems and may look overexposed if you don't dim the intensity of very bright lights and/or IBL. The "Classic" setup you will find in this set follows the look we are used to from V4. Please do not copy it as is! And keep in mind that you will need additional specular maps (not included!) to create this look. Of course, if you do not want your character for commercial purposes but just for your renders, you can adopt any material system that fits your needs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ USEAGE RESTRICTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You are NOT allowed to create freebies and Give-Aways from the product!!! -------------------------------------- Ownership Statement: All of the content in this package was created by SaintFox and Digital-Lion, and may include derivatives of the following merchant resources: Photographs by 3dsk Installation Instructions: Run Winzip or another zip-program and point it to a directory of your choice.
