The guns used replaceable hopper magazines (ten rounds per barrel) and were loaded and fired by moving a lever backwards and forward. The standard gun crew consisted of a captain who aimed the gun using elevation and training wheels and a gunner who operated the firing lever. The set includes two and four-barreled versions of the gun with a number of different mounting pedestals, as illustrated in Thorsten Nordenfelt's 1884 treatise, "The Nordenfelt Machine Guns Described in Detail". This is authentic Victorian Age weaponry for use in historic scenes but also steampunk-ready. Refer to the file list below for file locations. Note that the geometries and textures MUST be in the listed locations. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips Products files are found in Poser runtime library subfolders Michael_C\NordenfeltGuns. Some folders contain subfolders. Select the pedestal to reposition gun assembly compound figures. The 4B Gun Shield rotates with the gun automatically. When elevating the gun, change the "Elevate" control on the shield to match that on the gun. "Select Figure/Drop to Floor" to correctly reposition the gun after applying a pedestal smart prop. Select the gun figure to reposition guns with parented prop pedestals. Textures may be applied via MAT poses or in the Material room. The 2B and 4B magazines use the same material. Depending on gun position, M4 and V4 poses may require minor position adjustments. The standing poses are set for the 2B or 4B gun on small pedestal compound figure (2B Gun Assy and 4B Gun Assy 1). Other variations will require pose adjustments.
