************************************************************ *Product Name: Meipe's morphed poses *Copyright 05/05/2011 *By: Meipe ************************************************************ And now V4 will look real... A set of beautiful complete and partial morphed poses for stunning renderings! In the heart of it, a set of custom morphs designed for every single pose to ensure visual perfection... Special care was taken for Victoria's shoulders, arms, thighs, shins and toes. The injection channel is created by a Python script at the bottom of any body transformation, so no more ugly bending folds and hunches, but real flesh! Included are partial morphed poses and mirrored morphed poses for maximum flexibility. To allow compatibility with most common body injections, a nipple morph is injected separately. And now, let's kneel her down... This set includes 65 injectors... - 20 beautiful complete custom morphed poses - 7 complete mirrored custom morphed poses - 29 partial custom morphed poses - 8 mirrored partial custom morphed poses - 1 simple nipples injector - 2 python scrips (one Poser/DAZ internal, and one stand-alone) -------------------------------------- System Requirements: PC/MAC Tested on Poser 7,8,9 Poser 2010, DAZ Studio 3 and 4 Python 2.6.4 or later, only for Poser6 or lower. Copyright 08-2011 Script instructions provided by Xameva. -------------------------------------- Needed Files: Victoria 4 base -------------------------------------- [-The Script (by Xameva)-] *** These morphed poses require you to inject a custom morph channel into your figure's .cr2 file using a script provided. This is not the same thing as Morphs++ for example. The custom channel, named "MMorph" is a special channel that needed to be created in order to make the morphs perfect. They did not morph properly in the standard community channels. - Your original .cr2 figure is not changed at all. The script creates a copy and injects the "MMorph" channel into that. You then use this figure to load the morphed poses. - You can use the script on any .cr2, including your custom chars. Be aware though that if your saved .cr2 is grouped with clothes, hair, and anything else, that the MMorph channel will inject into those too. This shouldn't cause any issues other than your stuff having an empty channel, but if you want to avoid that, save your character to the library ungrouped. To use the script: 1. In Poser only, you need some character loaded in the scene. In DS the scene can be empty. Double click the "Create Morphed V4" script. 2. Browse to the Runtime\Libraries\Character\DAZ People folder. Select Victoria 4.2.cr2, and then click Open. (It doesn't have to be Victoria 4.2.cr2, it can be any V4 figure. But if you want to use the default V4.2, which is the standard, then Victoria 4.2.cr2 is the one) 3. Poser users - Save the new Morphed .cr2 wherever you want, just make sure it's inside the character directory. | DAZ users - New morphed figure will be automatically created in the folder of the input .cr2. 4. Browse to your new morphed figure in the library, and load it. You're now ready to use the poses! * Script not working? This may because you are using Poser 6 or earlier. Scroll down to the bottom for further instructions. [-How to Install-] Extract the contents of the .zip file into your Poser or DAZ Studio directory and the poses will be there in the Pose library under "MMorphedPoses". [-How to Use-] 1. Load up your Morphed V4 character. 2. Make sure "Inverse Kinematics" is turned off. 3. Make sure "Use Limits" is turned off. 4. Load the poses as you normally would. Don't forget about the partial poses which are great for mix and matching! 5. The MMorph value can be adjusted on each body part via the dial under morphs in the Parameters tab. This is useful if you're using a heavily modified custom figure, and want to adjust the morph if it looks weird. 6. Enough technical mumbo jumbo, start enjoying your poses! -------------------------------------- [-Important Notes-] 1. You may encounter weird Poser bugs that require you to zero the morphs, and then reapply the pose. Or you can try turning the MMorph dial on the problem body part to 0, then back to 1 again. This is not a problem with the poses or morphs, but rather Poser itself. The bugs were not able to be reproduced, and they seemed to occur randomly, usually when several figures (people, hair, clothes) are loaded into the scene and there is a lot of morph cross-talk going on. - One that I noticed a lot was with a pose where the collar morph would look weird. You dial the MMorph down to 0, then back to 1, and it's fixed. Strange I know, but what can you do, silly Poser! 2. The poses and morphs were designed for the default V4. Changing V4's body shape, including breasts may cause the morphs to look bad. Results vary. 3. The DAZ script only works in DAZ Studio 3 or later. Sorry DAZ 2 users! If you have Poser, you can create your morphed character .cr2 with the Poser script, and then use that figure in DAZ. 4. Make sure binary morphs are turned off in Poser. [-Poser 6 or Lower?-] If the Poser script is not working properly, it is likely because you have Poser 6 or earlier. Don't panic, you have two options: 1. Use DAZ script in DAZ Studio to create the morphed .cr2. You can then use the new .cr2 in Poser. 2. This option is more clunky, and more of a last resort. Included is a stand-alone Python script that runs outside of Poser, but requires you to install the Python software. (http://www.python.org/download/) - After installing Python, in a file browser (Windows Explorer or whatever), find your Victoria 4.2.cr2 in the DAZ People folder, and copy it. Then paste it into the Poser Runtime folder where you installed the product under Runtime\Libraries\Character\MMorphed Pose\OlderPoser. Then, double click xm-V4.2MorphInjectorOldPoser.py. It should create a new Morphed .cr2 file. You then load this figure in Poser and use the poses! ** Note that when you double click xm-V4.2MorphInjectorOldPoser.py, if it opens up Poser and doesn't create a Morphed .cr2, you must do one extra step. Right click xm-V4.2MorphInjectorOldPoser.py in your file browser, then click "Open With". Then click "Choose default program." Then browse to where you installed Python, select the Python .exe and click OK. This associates the .PY extension with Python so that the scripts opens in Python and not Poser. ** If you're running the script on a .cr2 file other than Victoria 4.2.cr2(custom character), you will need to open the xm-V4.2MorphInjectorOldPoser.py script in a text editor. You need to change the "inv = open" field to the name of your custom figure's name. Then save the script and run it with your custom character .cr2 in the folder. As you can see that method is clunky and we apologize if you have no choice but to use that method. You can uninstall Python after you've created your morphed figure. ------------------------------------------------------- Thank you again, enjoy your product!
