************************************************************ *Product Name: Skyreach *Copyright 13 Of June 2011 *By: Razor42 aka Ben Foster *Contact: Contact me on renderosity.com - Razor42 ************************************************************ Skyreach is a 2D background generator for use in Bryce 5.5 and up. The Skyreach system is a large floating sphere segment and an anchoring control sphere. The control sphere placed at world centre allows acurate placement of the segment in 3d space while containing distortion to a minimum. A planetary body is then projected onto the segment for the final render. Transparency hides the rest of the geometry and a photo accurate illusion is formed. Its possible to add a number of these to a scene, change the size and position in the sky, The sky reach systems allows the use of all Bryce Skies. This allows the user to quickly and easily compose space or sci-fi scenes. It is possible to use Skyreach with IBL or a Sky Dome. Also contained is a user manual with detailed descriptions for using the skyreach system with 3 detailed tutorials. Including Creating a spacey terrain an introductory tutorial showing some of the more hidden functions of the terrain editor, How to create a space scene and a tutorial for editing and creating your own texture maps for use with the Skyreach architecture. Use the default planets or create your own using any number of fantastic gimp or photoshop tutorials. -------------------------------------- System Requirements: PC and Mac compatible Bryce -------------------------------------- Ownership Statement: All of the content in this package was created by Razor42 aka Ben Foster, and may include derivatives of the following merchant resources: Public Domain Nasa images were used in the creation of the texture maps. If any Black is visible at edge of planet increase transparency setting in Bryce till it fades Rainbos are currently not supported because of a clash with the transparencies causes rainbows to fail to render correctly. Unfortunately the preview in the Object tab will not display properly this has no effect on the object once added -------------------------------------- Files Included in the Product: /Bryce --/Skyreach Objects ----/Skyreach Planets.obp --/Skyreach Skies ----/Skyreach Skies.bsk /Documentation --/License.txt --/Skyreach_Readme.text Skyreach_Manual.pdf /UV_Map --/Sky_Arc_UV.jpg
