Author: Vanishing Point Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj files into Runtime\Geometries\VP Put the cm2/ png (camera files) into Runtime\Libraries\camera\VP\bridge7 Put the cr2/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\VP Put the pz2/ png (pose files) into Runtime\Libraries\Pose\VP\bridge7 Put the jpg files (textures) and gif files (templates) into Runtime\Textures\VP\bridge7 Notes: 1) The gif files are not used on the model: they are included in case you want to make your own textures. Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > VP Library. 3) Add the Bridge7 to your scene. OR 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to File > Open 3) Browse to where you extracted the StarshipBridge7.pz3 scene file. 4) Add people to your scene to suit your taste. 5) Pose the people to suit your taste: either sitting in the chairs or standing or walking. Notes: 1) The Bridge 7 will be added to the center of your scene, already positioned in the proper place. 2) Camera movement through the bridge is very easy and camera files are included -You can use these camera files to render the scene or use them as starting points. -The cameras are placed so they are not blocked by the walls, meaning you do not have to hide any walls to render the scene. 3) Hide and show poses are included to hide and show the walls and roof. 4) ERC dials to open and close doors are located on the BODY part. -Although the doors can open, there are no corridors behind the doors. We recommend using one of the many corridor sets, for sale here, for background hallways. 5) If you want to make your own monitor-displays or control-surfaces, be sure to follow the the templates: although your texture may look angled, it will render as a straight line. 6) Depending on your light set, you may want to hide the Ceiling so you don't block the lights or create dark shadows. 7) The scene file includes a light set with Ambient Occlusion. Although this increases the level of detail by adding small shadows, this feature may increase rendering times. -To turn AO off, go to the TopAOShadowCast light > Properties (tab) and uncheck the box marked Ambient Occlusion. The "ScreenLarge" uses "maximized" mapping, meaning that you can use any image your like. Though keep an eye out for any stretching. For best results, be sure to use the FireFly Renderer with at least 4 ray-traced bounces. Hint: Depending on your light set, you may get better results by rotating or moving the Bridge (by using the Base or BODY) rather than moving the camera.
