Chevy Pick-up 1946

In 1941, all the front end was new on the Chevy pick-up truck : hood, louvers, fenders, bumpers, headlights, parking lights and grille. When combined with a 1 1/2-inch increase in wheelbase, the result was a larger, more impressive truck. 

Chevrolet engineers backed up the truck's bigger look with more power. Without an increase in cubic inches, horsepower was increased to 90 and torque to 174 lb-ft. at 2000 rpm. 
Because America entered World War II in December 1941 the government halted all civilian truck production early in 1942. Chevrolet resumed production of civilian trucks for the general market on August 20, 1945. The government allowed Chevrolet to build the half-ton 115-inch wheelbase pickup in 1945 for qualified essential civilian users. It was basically the same truck as the 1942 model but with several engineering improvements. These trucks stayed in production until about May 1, 1947 when the Advanced Design trucks entered production.

Check that you have the total control on your Poser program.

Unzip the runtime.zip into your Poser folder.
The Chevy Pick Up 1946 is now located in Poser\runtime\libraries\Props\Nationale7Props\.
The textures are located in Poser\runtime\textures\NATIONALE7TEXTURES\Chevy_PickUp_1946_Textures\.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS IF YOUR RUNTIME IS NOT LOCATED IN THE POSER FOLDER:

If you have bought a Nationale7 product for the first time:
         Open the Chevy_PickUp_1946.zip.
         Open the runtime folder. 
           - Open the Textures folder. Drag the Nationale7Textures folder into the Textures folder located in your hard drive.
           - Open the Libraries folder. Open the Props folder. Drag the Nationale7Props folder into the Props folder located in your hard drive.
If you have yet bought a Nationale7 product, the Nationale7Textures folder and the Nationale7Props folders are yet created.
         Open the Chevy_PickUp_1946.zip.
         Open the runtime folder. 
            - Open the Textures folder. Open the Nationale7Textures folder. Drag the Chevy_PickUp_1946_Textures folder into the Nationale7Textures folder located in your hard drive.
           - Open the Libraries folder. Open the Props folder. Open the Nationale7Props. Drag the 2 Chevy_PickUp_1946 files into your Nationale7Props folder located in your hard drive.

Useage tips and instructions:

Wheels can be rotated by using the X Rotate dial on the tire. For left to right movement as in steering you use the Y rotate to your desired position. You must do this for each individual wheel.

If you want to open the doors:

  Front right door closed all rotations value are 0 ; Trans X =  -0.865 ; Trans Y = -2.035 ; Trans Z = 0.413 
  Front right door wide open, Rot Y = 75° ;  Trans X = -1.321 ; Trans Y = -2.035 ; Trans Z = 0.834

  Front left door closed all rotations value are ? ; Trans X = 0.865 ; Trans Y = -2.035 ; Trans Z = 0.413 
  Front left door wide open, Rot Y = -75° ; Trans X = 1.321 ; Trans Y = -2.035  ; Trans Z = 0.834

 Tailgate  closed all rotations value are 0; Trans X = 0 ; Trans Y = -2.249 ; Trans Z = -2.804 
 Tailgate wide open, Rot X = -90° ; Trans X = 0 ; Trans Y = -0.456 ; Trans Z = -3.001
