FIXes designed as V4 INJ-poses, so just apply Fix-poses on your V4 character, and new beautiful knees will work automatically! :) -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Included in this Package: 5 Python scripts Fix-pose INJ for V4 knees Fix-pose REM for V4 knees Fix-pose INJ for V4 thighs Fix-pose REM for V4 thighs Full pose INJ for V4 (knees and thighs) Full pose REM for V4 -------------------------------------- [-How to Install-] Extract the contents of the .zip file into your Poser and the poses will be there in the Pose library under "V4PrettyLegs". [-The Script (by xameva and meipe)-] *** These morphed poses require you to inject some custom morph channels into your figure's .cr2 file using a script provided. This is not the same thing as Morphs++ for example. The custom channels, are special channels that needed to be created in order to make the morphs perfect. They did not morph properly in the standard community channels. - Your original .cr2 figure is not changed at all. The script creates a copy and injects the new channels into that. You then use this figure to load the fixing poses. - You can use the script on any .cr2, including your custom chars. Be aware though that if your saved .cr2 is grouped with clothes, hair, and anything else, that the new channels will inject into those too. This shouldn't cause any issues other than your stuff having some empty channels, but if you want to avoid that, save your character to the library ungrouped. To use the script: 1. You need some character (anything from the figures library) loaded in the scene. Double click the "Create Morphed V4" script in the poses/V4PrettyLegs folder. 2. Browse to the Runtime\Libraries\Character\DAZ People folder. Select Victoria 4.2.cr2, and then click Open. (It doesn't have to be Victoria 4.2.cr2, it can be any V4 figure. But if you want to use the default V4.2, which is the standard, then Victoria 4.2.cr2 is the one) 3. Save the new PL morphed .cr2 wherever you want, just make sure it's inside the character directory. 4. Browse to your new morphed figure in the library, and load it. You're now ready to use the fixing poses! * Script not working? This may because you are using Poser 6 or earlier. Scroll down to the bottom for further instructions. [-How to Use (by hameleon)-] 1. All Fix-Poses work only on the new Python created V4 characters. Start Poser and load new modified V4 character. (for example PLVictoria4.2.cr2) 2. Turn off "Inverse kinematics"!!! Turn On "Figure -> Use limits" 3. Apply knee fix: go to Runtime:Libraries:Pose:V4PrettyLegs and double click "Pretty Knee INJ" icon. Then Knee Fix will work automatically. 4. Remove knee fix: go to Runtime:Libraries:Pose:V4PrettyLegs and double click "Pretty Knee REM" icon. Knee Fix morphs list In Shins and Thighs: rsbend90 (lsbend90) - main Knee Fix. Works automatically when Shin bending from 0 to 90. rsbend145 (lsbend145) - main Knee Fix. Works automatically when Shin bending from 90 to 145 Bonus Thigh Fix morphs list In Thighs and Hip*: ltbend-100 (rtbend-100) - main Thigh Fix. Works automatically when Thigh bending from 30 to -120 While Side-Side and Twist value for Thigh = 0, Thigh Fix works perfect. But if you set Side-Side and Twist to non zero value, you should adjust Thigh by using custom morphs. rThighSide-Side (lThighSide-Side) - Change the value of this morph when Side-Side value of Thigh more than zero. rThighTwist-50 (lThighTwist-50) - Change the value of this morph when Twist value of Thigh less than zero. rThighTwist+50 (lThighTwist+50) - Change the value of this morph when Twist value of Thigh more than zero.. You need adjust these morphs at your taste for more realistic thighs looking. For example if you set up left Thigh Bend -80, Twist -12 and Side-Side 30, you should adjust lThighSide-Side to ~0,18 and lThighTwist-50 to ~0.28. Actually try to combine different values of all morphs at your taste. *You do not need to adjust any morphs in HIP, because they adjust automatically when you adjust morphs ih Thigh. Poser 7 users: You should use poses from Poser7 folder from this package. Thigh Fix works automatically, but Knee Fix is not. You should adjust this manually! How to do that: If you set Bend value for Sheen from 0 to 90, you need adjust rsbend90(lsBend90) for Thight and Sheen. If you set Bend value for Sheen more than 90, you need adjust rsbend145(lsBend145) for Thight and Sheen. Knee and Thighs FIXes designed to help you reach more artistic and more quality result for your v4 poses. But in some cases if you don't like the result you can decrease FIX amount manually, or even disable it by clicking on "...fix REM poses" Knee and Thighs FIXes maded for V4 nude figure. Clothes will not conform properly on V4 FIXed knees and thighs. To fix this problem you should use "Poser morphing tool" to correct clothes surface. Try! It's EASY! [-Poser 6 or Lower?-] If the Poser script is not working properly, it is likely because you have Poser 6 or earlier. Don't panic, you have an options, more clunky, and more of a last resort. Included are four stand-alone Python scripts that run outside of Poser, but requires you to install the Python software. (http://www.python.org/download/) - After installing Python, Double click PLVictoria4Injector.py. It should create a new Morphed .cr2 file. You then load this figure in Poser and use the poses! ** Note that when you double click one of the scripts, if it opens up Poser and doesn't create a Morphed .cr2, you must do one extra step. Right click PLVictoria4Injector.py (for example) in your file browser, then click "Open With". Then click "Choose default program." Then browse to where you installed Python, select the Python .exe and click OK. This associates the .PY extension with Python so that the scripts opens in Python and not Poser. ** Choose the script corresponding to your V4 character. ** If you're running the script on a .cr2 file on a custom character, you will need to open the PLVictoria4Injector.py script in a text editor. You need to change the "inv = open" field to the name of your custom figure's name. Then save the script and run it with your custom character .cr2 in the folder. As you can see that method is clunky and we apologize if you have no choice but to use that method. You can uninstall Python after you've created your morphed figure. -------------------------------------- Good default poser tip: Turn off "Use external binary morph targets"! It will resolve many problems with morphs.
