************************************************************ *Product Name: Morphing Pumpkins *Copyright: JARguy_creations 24/10/2011 *By: Jeff Rutledge *Contact: Use the Renderosity site mail service to conatact me ************************************************************ I created these 2 morphing pumpkins due to a lack of realistic 3D pumpkins in the marketplace, and coz I just LOVE Halloween. One is a stereotypical friendly faced pumpkin and the second is more sinister. -------------------------------------- System Requirements: PC ONLY I personally tested these pumpkins in Poser 7, 8, Pro 2012 & Daz 4 (free version), but they should also work in Poser 5 - 6. -------------------------------------- Ownership Statement: All of this product's content was created by Jeff Rutledge -------------------------------------- Needed Files: None, these pumpkins are standalone -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: The usual installation procedure applies here, just UnZip the file, find the Runtime folder, copy it and go to Program Files \ Smith Micro or e frontier etc. \ "your Poser version" and paste onto this folder, it will ask if you want to merge the Runtime folder, click YES! -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: - You will find the 2 morphing pumpkins in your Props folder, when you load either one both a candle and flame will parent to each pumpkin. Of course you can delete these if you wish, a pumpkin lid is also loaded as well that can be moved separately, all parts are parented to the main pumpkin body. - I have included both facial and deformation morphs in each pumpkin, if you use the deformation morphs in either pumpkin you will need to scale the lid as it's a separate object, the facial morphs don't require lid adjustment. - I have also included a candle light for each pumpkin in your lights folder, these will only parent to the candle flame if you first load the pumpkin in the 0 position then apply the appropriate light! If you want both types of pumpkins in your scene with candle lights make sure to load the scary pumpkin FIRST or both lights will parent to the friendly pumpkin for some reason. - DAZ users, I am not a Daz user and I optimized these pumpkins for Poser but I did test these guys in DAZ 4 and they do work. Simply go to file and import the .pp2 file of the pumpkin you want, then go to the 'surfaces' tool and change the angle to 70 for either pumpkin, you will need to adjust the Bump and Specular values as you see fit. - Also remember to check "use displacement maps" under your render settings, only the pumpkin stems use this however. - If you notice unwanted shiny areas on the inside of the pumpkin (under certain lighting setups) just go to the Materials room and change the 'Alternate Specular' color to a much darker grey or simply disconnect the node in the advanced tab after you have selected the 'Pumpkin Inner' material with your picker tool. - If you need to use the Pumpkin OBJ for another 3D program (like VUE) then while in Poser simply go to File-Export-Wavefront OBJ, click OK, then simply check the boxes that correspond to the Props that you want to export, click ok again then save this to a folder of your choice. -------------------------------------- Files Included in the Product: Documentation\ Morphing Pumpkin Read Me.txt Renderosity License.txt Runtime\Libraries\Light\JARguy_Morphing Pumpkins Pumpkin Light.lt2 Pumpkin Light.png Scary Light.lt2 Scary Light.png Runtime\Libraries\Props\JARguy_Morphing Pumpkins Morphing Pumpkin.pp2 Morphing Pumpkin.png Scary Pumpkin.pp2 Scary Pumpkin.png Runtime\Textures\JARguy_creations\Morphing Pumpkins Candle Scary TEXT.jpg Candle TEXT.jpg Flame TEXT.jpg Morphing P.
