Readme file for Castle Development Group Architectural Series  Copyright 2002 Created by: Debra Adamson dadamson@adamscon.com or dadamson@CastleDevelopmentGroup.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------- General Information: The Castle Development Group is dedicated to offering quality Architectural and Interior design elements for Poser. Our models feature user friendly features, such as dials for geometry or texture options. Users can easily view combinations and options without having to locate matching textures through a complicated Poser directory structure. All of our products are scaled to work seamlessly together and are consistent with general real world dimensions. Color schemes for the textures were designed in families providing users with packages that can build upon each other. Gone is the frustration of buying a set of textures that matches nothing else in your collection! New collections are added to our online catalog every 1-2 weeks and can be purchased at: Castle Development Group Turbo Squid Renderosity 3DCommune --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Files list: The CastleDev Egyptian Artifacts Pack 2 (Egyptian Weapons Pack) contains five ancient Egyptian weapons: three axes, a mace, and a spear. These weapons are just the thing to add realism your ancient Egyptian scenes. They work nicely with CastleDev Egyptian products, such as the CastleDev Egyptian Temple 2 and the CastleDev Egyptian Artifacts Pack 1 (Egyptian Vase Pack). Default texture and bump maps are provided, along with templates so you can make your own textures. The following files are supplied with the Egyptian Artifacts Pack 2: File Name Description --------- ----------- ArchitecturalB15.jpg Bump map for wooden handles (texture map is ArchitecturalT15.jpg) ArchitecturalT15.jpg Texture map for wooden handles (bump map is ArchitecturalB15.jpg) CDAC18.obj Geometry file for Ax 1 CDAC18.png Thumbnail image for Ax 1 (Poser 4 with Pro Pack) CDAC18.pp2 PP2 file for Ax 1 CDAC18.rsr Thumbnail image for Ax 1 (Poser without Pro Pack) CDAC18T.jpg Texture/bump map template for Ax 1 CDAC19.obj Geometry file for Ax 2 CDAC19.png Thumbnail image for Ax 2 (Poser 4 with Pro Pack) CDAC19.pp2 PP2 file for Ax 2 CDAC19.rsr Thumbnail image for Ax 2 (Poser without Pro Pack) CDAC19T.jpg Texture/bump map template for Ax 2 CDAC20.obj Geometry file for Ax 3 CDAC20.png Thumbnail image for Ax 3 (Poser 4 with Pro Pack) CDAC20.pp2 PP2 file for Ax 3 CDAC20.rsr Thumbnail image for Ax 3 (Poser without Pro Pack) CDAC20T.jpg Texture/bump map template for Ax 3 CDAC21.obj Geometry file for Mace CDAC21.png Thumbnail image for Mace (Poser 4 with Pro Pack) CDAC21.pp2 PP2 file for Mace CDAC21.rsr Thumbnail image for Mace (Poser without Pro Pack) CDAC21T.jpg Texture/bump map template for Mace CDAC22.obj Geometry file for Spear CDAC22.png Thumbnail image for Spear (Poser 4 with Pro Pack) CDAC22.pp2 PP2 file for Spear CDAC22.rsr Thumbnail image for Spear (Poser without Pro Pack) CDAC22T.jpg Texture/bump map template for Spear EgyptianB2.jpg Bump map for metal/stone (texture map is EgyptianT2.jpg) EgyptianT2.jpg Texture map for metal/stone (bump map is EgyptianB2.jpg) The Architectural texture and bump maps can be found in the Runtime\textures\CastleDev\Architectural subdirectory under the Poser4 directory. The PNG, PP2, and RSR files can be found in the Runtime\libraries\props\CastleDev-Accessories subdirectory under the Poser4 directory. The OBJ files can be found in the Runtime\Geometries\CastleDev\Architecture\Accessories subdirectory under the Poser4 directory. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Extract the files to your Poser directory. They should appear under the appropriate CastleDev Subdirectory listed in the previous section. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage: Once the files have been installed into the Poser directories, you will find the weapons under the Props/CastleDev-Accessories tab in the Poser library menu. You can bring them into your Poser scene in the same manner that you would any other Poser prop. Please see the License Agreement for any questions regarding how and where these files may be used. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tips and Tricks: There is a consistent naming convention throughout the Castle Development Group series of Poser related products. We have tried to provide the simplest method possible for users to locate and identify our files as possible. All CastleDev files start with the letters "CD". The next 2 letter identify what type of element the file is associated with, such as MW for Multi-Wall. The numbers which follow designate the dimension of the wall - 0816, being 8 ft by 16 ft. This is followed by an sequence reference and in the case of Texture or Bump maps T1... or B1... There for CDMF1616M1T26 could be read as "Castle Dev Multi-Floor size 16x16 texture number 26". Enjoy!
