It is uable for any kind of human sized subject like robots, droids, cyborgs, alien life-forms or even opratives in power armors. It consits of Service arch with movable platform for maintained or tested subject and six manipulator arms for executing maintenace operations, service robot for conducting maintenance procedures or powering the device and human operator console for more precise control. Service arch is equiped with force filed generator for isolating subject from environmet. Such service stations are used widely at many organizations and agencies. We are presenting it in general security, army and navy variants. You will find the items in Character, Light, Pose and Props folders named Cyborg Maintenance Unit. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Model of service station is made as serie of poser figures and props. There are three main parts of the set - service arch with six manipulator arms, service robot EggBot with several structural variants and operator console. These three figures can be used as one set joined together by two power cables - also made as poser figures, or independetly without joining. If you want to joint three parts with power cables, please parent each of them to "body" of the their main parent figure. So Power Cable Eggbot parent (set figure parent) to EggBot "Body"(!) and Power Cable Console parent (set figure parent) to Operator Console "Body". Further you need to parent (parent object) last bodyparts of each cable to Service Arch "Arch" bodypart. Both cables should have IK chains set to ON by default. If not, switch IK chains to ON. If done corretly changing height of Service arch (through ERC dial in service arch body) will move also ends of power cables, and further eggbot and console can be moved around the floor with cables attached to them. For Service arch you can also change height of steps. These two features - changing height of arch and steps can help you to better fit shorter or taller figures inside the station. Service Arch has six fully poseable manipulator arms three on the left side: L1, L2 and L3 and three on right side: R1, R2 and R3. Arms L3 and R3 are equiped with ERC controlled claws, while arms L1,L2 and R1 and R2 can be equiped with each of seven available tool attachements. These are made as smart props parented to each individual manipulator arm "hand" bodypart. Each arm can be moved in all three directions in hand, forearm and shoulder joints and further it can be slide along its railings with collar bodypart. IK chains are set to on by default so the best way to pose the arms is just grab the "hand" bodypart and drag it to desired location. Tool attachement can be load either before posing or after that. There are also three helping poses for better use of the arms. Two poses are for L3 and R3 claw arms - one is for setting claws under shoulders for paralyzed human scenes, the second for setting claws on wrists. The third pose if for moving L1, L2 and R1, R2 arms toward the figure body inside station. All three poses are made as universal, so minor adjustments are needed to better fit used figure. Further are included two poses, one for M4 and one for v4 to correctly set them into station. These poses can be used for other figures as well with some adjustments made. There is optional smart prop for the arch - force field for better protection of maintained subject or against it. Service Robot figure EggBot is also eqipped with ERC controls in body dials and with same material option as arch and console - yellow for security, blue for navy and green for army variants. Further there is combi variant for the robot. Eggbot can be used in several structural variants, for example with symetrical or asymetrical face configuration, without manipulator arm (use provided pose), with tooltray smart prop and so on. You can even hide its claws and parent to its hand body part some of arch´s tool attachement but you will need to scale it down. Operator console figure have three display screens on manipulator arms which can be repostioned as needed. There are also IK chains for these arms, so the best way for posing them is also with grabiing the last part in the chain. Further there is posable keyboard set. Inside console are loaded by default two holorod smart props inside data chamber. The other two holorod props are available from prop folder. Model is completely UV mapped. For certain parts of models are provided texture templates, other material zones are textured by procedural materials or by tiled textures and templates are not aplicable for them. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or or other 3d applications.
