Product Description
SimONE 2 is for Poser 9 and Poser 2012's new SSS feature and those wanting to exploit it. Some Advanced Materials node setup is helpful but not necessary. Each shader is built for ease of use, with Diffuse, Specular, and Bump/Displacement arranged in shader bricks inside the Advanced tab in the Material Room. Shaders range from easy to complex; you're under no obligation to use the provided shaders.

If you own SimONE then what you're getting with SimONE 2 is a similar solution to SSS that involves altering a dark skin to make a lighter and darker skin while adding makeup and effects. This time, there is only one kind of SSS shader which is similar to Pro shaders found in SimONE.

Product Usage Tips and Limitation
- This product may be used for Victoria 4(A4, S4, G4, She-Freak 4, etc.) only, by Daz. This product is not to be used to make commercial or free texture(s), shaders, or materials for any other figure, including Michael 4(Hiro, David, Freak, etc.), by Daz.

- You may use this product to make commercial texture(s), shaders, or materials for Victoria 4(A4, S4, G4, She-Freak 4, etc.) by Daz. 

- You may not use this product to make free textures, shaders, or materials for Victoria 4 by Daz(A4, S4, G4, She-Freak 4, etc.) or any other figure.

- You may not redistribute this product - as is - in whole or in part. Significant changes to the textures must be made to use this product in your own commercial ventures. The shaders(but not their unaltered textures) may be redistriuted in your own commercial ventures.

- You need to have Raytracing, Displacements and Sub Surface Scattering activated while using SimONE 2.
As of release, Poser 9 and Pro 2012 render black artifacts while using SSS and raytraced-reflections on the same material zone; Smith Micro is aware of this. This issue has been resolved in the latest service pack release.

- Be certain you're rendering at high resolution for best results.

- Your render becomes black, or the skin renders a black(or other color) shilouette: this has been addressed to Smith Micro. The current solution is to empty your computer's temporary cache and shut down for a bit; this issue seems related to loss of computer memory used by Poser - regardless of how much RAM your system has.

- It is normal not to see all effects displayed in the viewport before rendering. Once rendered, effects will display correctly.

- SimONE uses the brick system for shaders; looking at the Advanced tab in Material Room, you'll notice one stack of nodes controls the specularity, one stack controls the diffuse color and effect, and another stack controls the bump and displacement value where applicable.

- Take note of moles and raises in the skin. Its a good idea to remove or move these to assist in differing your own texture set from the original textures.

- Remember to make changes in diffuse,displacement(if applied) and normal maps when adding or removing surface details like moles and scars. 

- Normal maps make can not do all the detail work; displacement maps greatly assist in realistic skin. Its a great idea to make these two textures match-up for similar depth in skin.

- SSS Pro MU MINE.mc6 is my own take on SimONE 2. Feel free to redistribute this shader according to the license.txt and "Usage and Limitations" listed above.
