This debut volume of elegantly simple yet realistic in the extreme gives the user endless possibilities, fast rendering and scene set up and utilising Vue’s superior control over color,bump, displacement , and highlight. Wehope that the One Click Wonder family of material presets will simply transform your Vue rendering capabilities. The aim of the one click wonder family of materials, is to enable you to create your scene and simply apply these materials to your landscapes and objects and with little or no adjustment, instantly create stunning landscapes. If you do need to make alterations the intention is that you should only have to alter wither material scale or bump or displacement levels by going in to the material editor and no further - all the under the hood magic has been done for you! We aim, with these materials, to allow you to let your artistic and creative ability's come to the fore in your renders, with out getting bogged down in complicated tutorial sessions, or spending hours in the material and functions editors, thus freeing up your vue time to create the renders you want, with the minimum of effort. After all, most of us want to create the view in our minds eye without getting lost in the guts of this powerful software. If you have ever wanted to quickly turn the meta blob or object you have just created or importedinto your scene, or even a fast rendering detailed material for your foreground terrain, rocks or objects then one click wonders will make that happen for you! Harnessing the incredible power of displacement for close up renders and low polygon models to give it that extra detail, or the self same materials with normal bump mapping for faster rendering on objects that do not need displacement its all here for you! Volume Two -Sedimentary Rock Materials allows you to use simple or more complicated mixed and layered procedural materials with ease. Or if you want you can mix them, layer them or adapt them to your hearts content. These great rock materials can be inserted as layers in other existing materials or used in conjunction with other materials in your material collection to create an infinite variety of great textures and looks for your Vue scenes. This Product includes: Twenty procedural materials for Vue 9 and up for application to terrains or objects in your Vue scenes. Algal Grey Rock - A height sensitive material that gives you algae covered stone at ground level, and above that layers of grey sedimentary rock with wonderful details.Perfect for river rocks or indeed anywhere where you want your rocks to be sitting in damp footings. Dark Grey Rock (stained)- A worn, dark grey rock with staining giving it an old appearance. Ferrus - A variation of the dark gray rock with pronounced patches or rusty coloring as if the exposed ferrous deposits have caused the rock its self to turn red. Grey Rock - wet and dry - A grey sedimentary rock material with damp shiny lower areas as if standing in water. Hoodoo Aggregate - A complex mixture of Dark grey brown sedimentary stone and smaller harder stones. Hoodoo Chalky#6 - A chalky rock with brown and red deposits and veins. Hoodoo Pink Rock - A pink sandstone with pale subtle variations in texture and color. Hoodoo Pink Rock #5 - Rather like the perfume of the same name, this pink and red sandstone material is perfect for the discerning artist to bring out the subtle age and hue of aged sandstone. Hoodoo Sandringham Inspiration for this sandstone material was taken by the richer russets and golden oranges of the rock formations around the queens favorite residence in Norfolk,England. Dependant on the size and scale of your terrains or objects you can change the scale of any of these materials up and down as needed. To do this either go to the material preview window at the top right hand corner of your Vue screen and change the scale under the material preview or open the materials editor and change the scale in there.
